Comments on the packaging

814 is a brand created in 2015 which offers unique and authentic juices with the theme of the history of France from the Middle Ages period with its famous Kings, Queens, Dukes and Duchesses.

Here, it is Dagobert, the most brilliant of the Merovingian kings, born around 602 and died around 638 or 639, having reigned for ten years.

Dagobert is distributed in a transparent flexible plastic vial which contains 50 ml of product. The base of the recipe is balanced and therefore displays a ratio of PG / VG in 50/50. The nominal rate of nicotine is obviously zero given the quantity of liquid offered.

This nicotine level can easily be adjusted with a booster directly in the bottle. The level obtained will then be 3 mg/ml. To stay at 0, just add 10 ml of neutral base before using the product because it is overdosed in aroma.

The product is also available in a 10ml format with nicotine levels of 4, 10 and 14 mg/ml. Two versions in concentrate for DIY exist: one of 10 ml displayed at a price of 6,50 € and the other of 50 ml for 25.00 €.

The ready-to-booster version of 50 ml is displayed at a price of €19,90 and therefore ranks among the entry-level liquids.

The liquids of the 814 range are now packaged and distributed by the VDLV group located in the South West of France.

Comments on the taste of the juice

Dagobert is typically gourmand with flavors of custard and cereals. The tender scent of custard imposes itself as soon as the bottle is opened, followed closely by cereals, giving off an attractive and regressive smell.

Dagobert has good aromatic power. Without overdoing it, all the flavors used in the composition of the recipe are expressed perfectly during the tasting.

I first identify the cereal notes of the toasted cornflakes type with subtle nuances of oats, delicately hemmed with sugar.

Then come subtle vanilla and spicy touches emanating from a rather thick and creamy custard.

The custard comes to close the tasting by reinforcing the gourmet notes of the recipe. The smoothness of the cream is perfectly transcribed. A delicate and light cream whose pastry finish is very pleasant in the mouth.

The homogeneity between the olfactory and gustatory feelings is perfect, the liquid is very soft.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

A warm or even hot vape will be more suitable for tasting the Dagobert. Indeed, gourmet juices are better with this type of temperature.

A restricted draft will allow all the taste nuances of the liquid to be preserved because with a lighter draft the flavors of the cereals and the spicy notes of the custard are much more diffuse.

My mood ticket on this juice

I particularly appreciated the tasting of our Dagobert, in particular for its lightness which allows all-day use without any problem! It is indeed a gourmet in question but the type not to do too much and remain vapable at will.

I also found the choice of flavors interesting, even if some of them are quite similar in terms of taste. This is the case with custard and custard. They show a beautiful complementarity by carrying different shades of greed. The drier cereals “break up” and give structure to the vanilla sweetness.

A gourmet liquid while remaining light, ideal for breakfast or, for the greediest among us, for the rest of the day!

Congratulations to 814 for offering us a delicate delicacy very well made and really pleasant to taste!
