Comments on the packaging

“The good king Dagobert put his panties inside out”…

Without a doubt. But the 814 e-liquid that bears his name is very well-held and, without having really taken out a ceremonial dress, is my faith very pleasing to the visual. The range is declined by searching the recesses of the French heraldic heritage and presents us today a great king fallen into the oblivion of history and of whom we only remember a bawdy song. Too bad for a monarch who in his time was a man of mediation and diplomacy… and good for us because he leaves us a most comforting song to drink!

The essential information for the vaper is all present and visible. A good point for this good old Dagobert!

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

“The king was making verses but he was making them wrong”….

Maybe ... But this does not apply at all to our liquid which offers us the transparency of the most beautiful water. Everything is there, including a batch number that is always handy to ensure the flavor of a juice over time.

We note that the laboratory responsible for the production of Dagobert is LFEL, one of the laboratories most prone to safety, which is a good guarantee of quality.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in line with the price category: Could do better for the price

Comments on the packaging

“The good king Dagobert put on his beautiful green coat”…

Why not? But in any case the glass chosen here to contain the e-liquid is transparent, which is for me the only bad taste really attributable to the Dagobert. Indeed, I would have preferred a colored glass, amber or green, why not, in order to protect its precious cargo from the harmful rays of the solar star!

Apart from this detail, I love the label, very much in the spirit of the concept of the range which shows us a throne where sits… the rate of nicotine! Nice without overdoing it, we are staying well within the milestones set by the brand. It's nice and completely in line with what we expect from an e-liquid of this quality and this price. Please, Mr 814, just a little color on the glass and I will marry you !!!

Comments on the taste of the juice

“The good king Dagobert let himself be vaped for dessert”…

Oh how much !!! The taste quality of Dagobert will be widely appreciated by gourmets of all kinds. It is indeed a vanilla custard, rather light and not very creamy but very long in the mouth and well “regulated”. To this is added a light note of caramel which “flames” a little the impression in the mouth. But the most interesting and original is revealed on the exhale, when a fragrant cloud of cereals tickles your nostrils or your mouth. It is difficult for me to say which cereal is used, but corn seems to answer the call. It's nice and surprising enough to justify the presence of Dagobert in the very crowded category of Custards.

The recipe works very well and will appeal to fans of custards plus. It may also appeal to the less greedy because at no time does it become disgusting, which means that the juice is vaped as desired and without boring.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 17.5 W
  • Type of vapor obtained at this power: Dense
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Medium
  • Atomizer used for the review: Taifun GT, Cyclone AFC
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 1.4
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Kantal, Cotton

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

The good king Dagobert will vaporize at ease on all types of devices. Its viscosity is relatively low even if the vapor is relatively dense in proportion. On the test equipment used, I preferred it between 14 and 18W. It will however accept to rise in temperature without disintegrating and, even if we lose a little of its sweetness, we retain the aromatic balance.

My mood ticket on this juice

Very good e-liquid in its category, Dagobert stands out for its balance between vanilla cream and cereals. No flavor is really dominant, there is no parasitism and it's perfect.

As the song ends with this: “The good king Dagobert was afraid of going to hell…”, I register against this premonition by prophesying rather a nice corner of paradise for aficionados of rather light gourmets.

A nice success, another one, from a brand that still seems to have a lot to say !!!
