In the year 474, or was it in 475, I cannot remember exactly, the young Princess Clotilde was born on the shores of the Baltic Sea. A few benevolent fairies leaned over her cradle and predicted a glorious future for her by marrying Clovis, King of the Franks. A few years later, a liquid manufacturer decided to create a juice with a smooth and fruity flavor and give it the name of Clotilde.
So much for the legend. Liquids 814 are made around Bordeaux in Aquitaine. The aromas used are food grade certified. To combine the useful with the pleasant, 814 has the gift of taking you through time and eras to discover the flavors of which they have the secret. Clotilde is therefore the name of the liquid of the day. In the fruity range, it is advertised as a peach and strawberry yogurt.
Sold in a 10ml glass bottle, also armed with a glass dropper pipette, its recipe is based on a PG / VG ratio of 60/40. It is available in nicotine strengths of 0, 4, 8 and 14 mg / ml at a price of 5,9 €. 814 offers Clotilde in concentrate of 10 or 50 ml to make your liquid in larger quantities. Clotilde is an entry level liquid.

Comments on the packaging
814 is still one of the rare manufacturers to use a glass bottle armed with a glass pipette also to contain its liquids. It is not to displease me besides, the plastic being more and more controversial. The advantage of glass is that it is neutral in terms of taste and that it could be recycled. The disadvantage of the glass pipette is that it is too thick to fill some tanks, especially those protected by an anti-reflux cover.
Nevertheless, the impression that this kind of packaging leaves is positive. The 814 liquids labels are all organized in the same way, so you can recognize the brand at a glance.
All labels are in black and white. We find the portrait of Queen Clotilde and her name on a black background on the side. Below the portrait, you will find the essential information about vaping. Comments on the taste of the juice
Clotilde is advertised as a peach and strawberry flavored liquid wrapped in yogurt. At the olfactory level, the peach is very present. A tangy note is also felt, but I can't say for now that this is due to the strawberry.
I use the Flave 22 dripper to appreciate this liquid mounted with a nichrome coil in 0,4 ohm. The power chosen to start the test is reasonable 22 watts, I don't like vaping too hot, especially yoghurts!
In terms of taste, I feel the marriage of peach and strawberry with inspiration. Even if the peach flavor is more marked, the strawberry brings its tangy touch. The vape is indeed full and creamy like yogurt. The aromatic power of the liquid is quite low, the flavor does not stay long in the mouth. The hit felt is normal and the vapor is normal at the density level. The whole is pleasant and soft.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
I recommend this liquid for first-time vapers who are looking for a fruity liquid while round and not very marked. To keep the flavors in the mouth longer, the airflow will be slightly open. An MTL vape (tight) will do better. You can use this liquid on any type of material, however, the too airy vape may be a little bland.
Very pleasant at the time of the dessert or at the snack accompanied by a jam for example, Clotilde could prove to be an allday for the amateurs of fruity.

My mood ticket on this juice
I really liked this peach-strawberry liquid, even if I would have appreciated a greater aromatic power. The yogurt attenuates the flavors and makes the vape of this Clotilde creamy in the mouth, it's very pleasant.
The 814 liquids are neat in their presentation and manufacture and this is also why Clotilde wins a Top Juice from the Vapelier with a score of 4,5 / 5.
