Since the first steps of vaping, Eliquid France has been part of the elite of French liquidiers. If we mainly know the Charentes Maritimes brand for the Fruizee or the Premium range, it would be a shame to miss the very extensive catalog which presents us with numerous liquids for all tastes and categories of vapers.
This is how The Originals range presents us today with Classic RY4, a liquid that is not necessarily recent but which deserves our attention, especially if you like gourmet tobaccos.
What is an RY4? Well, it’s one of the great classic and historical vaping recipes. Born in the Ruyan factories in China (Ruyan for RY), we owe its existence to the close collaboration of Ludo Timmermans, CEO of the late Janty house and an in-house chemist. Eager to produce an original and ambitious recipe, the two acolytes made several versions mixing blond tobacco, caramel and vanilla. Of all the versions produced, it was the fourth that was chosen. The aptly named RY4 was born!
Today's liquid is therefore the heir to a great taste saga which has attracted a huge number of vapers around the world. It exists in several versions. First of all in 10ml with nicotine levels of 0, 3, 6, 12 and 18 mg/ml for €5.90. Then in 50 ml to boost for €17. And finally in a ready-to-vape pack, namely a 50 ml bottle and one or two flavored boosters depending on whether you choose the 3 mg/ml version or the 6 mg/ml version. Enough to satisfy all needs.
The liquid is assembled on a 50/50 PG/VG base, classic and effective with a tobacco flavor. It is therefore aimed at all vapers, whether beginners, experienced or experts.

Comments on the packaging
We are faced with packaging that is certainly simple but very effective. Firstly because it avoids the pitfall of the “medical” aspect still present in many competing ranges but also because it finds a way to evoke both cigar rings and tobacco in general by opting for an advantageous black and gold livery.
We thus have the best of both worlds: the simplicity required by the legislator AND elegance. Good game. This shows that simplicity is not necessarily synonymous with monotony.

Comments on the taste of the juice
No problem here, we find the spirit and the letter of the original RY4. We therefore have a marked blond tobacco, quite deep and slightly sweet, which evokes the virginia of the American plains.
It blends closely with a gourmand sensation, present but nevertheless subtle, which takes on light notes of caramel and vanilla. We are therefore in an applied and conscientious reading of the initial recipe which was intended above all to be a gourmet tobacco and not a gourmet tobacco. And the difference is huge!
The assembly is mastered, each ingredient easy to discern and the result is a liquid that is very pleasant to vape, uncompromising and yet perfectly civilized. The balance between the light harshness of tobacco and the gluttony of two other musketeers is convincing and avoids the caricature into which many RY4s have fallen but also the overflow of sweet sensations.
In short, an interpretation of a great old-school classic which will appeal to beginners and experienced alike, with easy reading and a constant and reassuring flavor.

Precise and powerful, the Classic RY4 will find its place in all atomizers or pods thanks to its medium viscosity. It will best be vaped in MTL or light RDL, at a fairly warm temperature.
All-day by nature, it will perfectly complement coffee moments or a tasting of dried fruits.

My mood ticket on this juice
Our Classic RY4 certainly does not revolutionize the genre but does better than draw inspiration from its illustrious predecessors. Heir to a long line of liquids of the same nature, it nevertheless brings great rigor to its recipe which leaves room for blond tobacco which is not reduced here to the state of an alibi. A simple, sober gourmet tobacco but devilishly effective in daily vaping or for successful smoking cessation.
