Comments on the packaging

Today I'm going back to explore “The Originals” range offered by the French brand Eliquid France. This series of juices currently includes thirty-seven liquids with varied flavors since there are gourmet, classic, minty or fruity liquids. Something to satisfy everyone.

The juices in the range are available in two formats, they are available in 10 ml vials with nicotine levels of 0, 3, 6, 12 and 18 mg/ml or in 50 ml bottles of course without nicotine. For the latter, the addition of nicotine will be possible since the bottle can accommodate up to 70 ml of liquid, the tip of the vial detaches to facilitate the operation, well done!

The base of the recipe displays a PG/VG ratio of 50/50, this balanced base will allow the use of the product with most existing equipment. Caramel is packaged in a transparent flexible plastic bottle slightly tinted black to protect it from UV rays.

The 10 ml versions are priced at €5,90, the 50 ml versions start at €17,00. Two packs with boosters are also available. The first with one booster and the other with two. These two variations allow the nicotine level to be adjusted to 3 or 6 mg/ml and are respectively displayed at prices of €22,90 and €28,80. The prices of nicotine packs may seem expensive but this is explained: the boosters are flavored so as not to distort the flavors when adding nicotine.

Caramel ranks among entry-level liquids.

Comments on the packaging

The liquids offered by Eliquid France are easily identifiable thanks to the logo and the name of the brand present on the front of the bottles, the name of the juice is located just below.

The design of the label does not really match the name of the juice, however a real visual effort has been made. Indeed, the label has well-made smooth, metallic and shiny finishes.

The packaging therefore remains simple, not devoid of a certain elegance and with a very competitive quantity/price ratio for the nicotine-free version.

Comments on the taste of the juice

Caramel comes from the gourmet range. When you open the bottle, the very particular flavors of the confectionery are present and faithful. The smell of the juice is pleasant, the “fatty” aspect of the caramel is very palpable.

Caramel has good aromatic power. The delicacy is faithfully transcribed during its tasting thanks to the subtle bitter, slightly salty and delicately sweet notes it provides.

We are therefore here on a fairly sweet caramel but with predominant salty taste notes compared to the sweet ones, even if the latter remain present. At the same time, a sugar-free caramel, I don't really know if it's possible! These delicate sweet notes soften the slight bitterness of the confectionery at the end of tasting.

The overall rendering of the confectionery with its “fatty and salty” notes reminds me more of the salted butter caramel coulis coming out of the pan than the rendering of the very sweet soft candy.

The gourmet notes of the liquid are very present and realistic, Caramel is soft and light.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 38 W
  • Type of steam obtained at this power: Normal
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Light
  • Atomizer used for the review: Aspire Atlantis GT
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.30 Ω
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Cotton, Mesh

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

The 50/50 base of Caramel will allow the use of the majority of existing materials. Typically gourmet, a rather high power and temperature will therefore be more suited to its tasting.

Regarding the draw, I preferred a good opening which allows the balance of salty and sweet notes to be maintained. Indeed, with a smaller print run, it seems to me that the already discreet sweet notes fade even more.

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: Morning - coffee breakfast, Morning - chocolate breakfast, End of lunch / dinner with a coffee, Early evening to relax with a drink
  • Can this juice be recommended as an all-day vape: No

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.38 / 5 4.4 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

Caramel, this recognizable treat that creates the sacred union between the adults that we are and the child that lies dormant within us.

I wonder if Eliquid France really managed to decide the winner in the recipe, from the salted butter caramel typical of Brittany to the more British milky sweetness.

Here we obtain a realistic confectionery which will suit all fans of the genre provided of course that you do not expect too much sugar, there is none!

This is why I recommend this liquid for occasional gourmet breaks during the day, especially in the morning with a coffee in my case, rather than for untimely all-day use.

And you, what do you think, sweet or savory?
