Childebert is the new opus of Girondins 814. Son of Clovis, this king of the Franks is known… by history buffs! What I like to do is go dig a little into the gossip of these royal ancestors. And imagine that Childebert was married to Ultrogothe! Frank names are too weird. 814 has made it its trademark and for a few years now, I have been reviewing my history of France over the liquids of these Aquitaine!
Childebert is delivered in a 60ml pet bottle, filled to 50ml with liquid which you can supplement, if you wish, with a nicotine booster to obtain a liquid dosed approximately in 3 mg / ml of nicotine. Childebert is also available in concentrate for DIY enthusiasts. I note that 814 has chosen not to release this liquid in a 10ml vial. They might think these little containers are a bit short. If 814 is gifted in the preparation of liquids, the visual leaves me unsatisfied. The label certainly sticks to the name of Childebert since we can admire his portrait, but it's a little too monastic for my taste. It lacks complexity. The features of the drawing of this king are simple, the details, as can be seen on the illuminations, are lacking. I preferred the old illustrations. The Middle Ages is a colorful historical period, the initials and illuminations bear witness to this.
On both sides of the portrait of Childebert, we can read the information concerning the liquid useful to consumers. The label is correctly done, but it lacks medieval ambition for my taste.

Comments on the taste of the juice
The peanut is not a fruit. But there was no “legume” in the description, so I put “dry fruit”. We all nibbled on peanuts at the time of the aperitif and often they are salty. But, if you buy plain ones, try to put some honey there, you will see, it is a killer! And yes! Peanuts are salty or sweet! 814 had the good idea of pairing it with vanilla cream in the Childebert.
The smell of the liquid is very greedy. I recognize the peanut perfectly. The smell is realistic. On the taste test, the peanut flavor is very well restored. On inspiration it fills the palate. Very full, we feel the flavor but also the fatty aspect of it. Vanilla cream comes into play and rounds off the puff. It is she who gives the sweet and greedy touch to the liquid. At the expiration, the marriage is consummated and you have a most pleasant mixed flavor left. The whole is balanced, coherent and conforms to the description.
