Comments on the packaging

Cherryl is one of the liquids presented by Flavor Art, this fruit is offered in a classic packaging, a transparent plastic bottle (PET) with a capacity of 10ml. The material is divided into two rigidities with an upper half of the flexible bottle, while the other half remains harder. The vial has a flat cap closure which does not separate from its bottle and therefore does not risk getting lost. However, the tab must be removed on first use to open this secure cap.

The proposed nicotine dosage for this liquid is 0mg, 4.5mg, 9mg and 18mg. My vial for this test is 4.5mg / ml and it is a product that is also marketed in non-nicotine concentrate.

Regarding the base, it is well balanced between propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin since this first ingredient is proportioned to 50% is that the second is diluted to 10% with distilled water and flavors in 40% vegetable glycerin. A final lot at 60 / 40 PG / VG approx.

Cherryl's orientation is fruity, but the scent gives rise to hope for something more delicious.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

This liquid displays on its label the name and contact information of the laboratory with that of the distributor, as well as a telephone number for consumers if necessary. All the ingredients are noted and the aromas contain natural scents, without the addition of alcohol of essential oils or sugar. Only detail is that a little distilled water was added to the composition but some people could be inconvenienced.

By passing the finger, the relief marking intended for the visually impaired feels very good and it is affixed to the danger pictogram. However, it lacks the prohibition pictograms for minors and the one that advises against the use of this product for pregnant women, even if these recommendations are noted on the label and that we received these juices in 2016, the doubled mentions are now mandatory.

In a blue box, the batch number and the expiry date are clearly indicated and you can also see a little further, the name of the product and that of its manufacturer.

The security of the cap is quite special since to open it, you have to press on the two opposite sides and lift the cap simultaneously.

Comments on the packaging

The packaging is not exceptional, but we are on an entry level, however it is correct and elaborated with codes. The label is divided into two equitably shared parts.

A first graphic plan highlights the name of the laboratory, partly underlined by two bands of colors on both sides to signify the nicotine level, which is also inscribed (green in 0mg / ml, in light blue in 4.5mg / ml, dark blue 9mg / ml and red for 18mg / ml). Then we see the name of the liquid placed on a color background proper to his taste, Cherryl is in shades of red with shades of orange. Finally, at the bottom, we find the capacity of the bottle and the destination of the product (for electronic cigarettes).

On the other side of the label, the information is purely inscriptions which indicate the precautions of use, provide the ingredients, the various dosages, the reachable services as well as the pictogram of dangerousness.

A small format packaging that imposes a compression of information that is difficult to read without a magnifying glass.

Comments on the taste of the juice

I really like the smell of this Cherryl, it's a gourmet fruitiness that reminds me of Kréma (Regal'ad) cherry candies. We really have the impression that we are going to savor a sweet treat with this fabulous taste of cherry.

On the vape side, it's extremely disappointing, the smell and the taste have nothing to do with it. When I vape this liquid, I don't feel any particular aroma, I have a liquid without aroma, neutral and nevertheless sweet in my mouth. The cherry is surely present, but so far away that I cannot even describe the scent I perceive.

It's a shame, when the smell was so promising.

Tasting recommendations

  • Atomizer used for the review: Dripper Haze
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 1.1
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Kanthal, Cotton

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

I looked for how to vape this liquid which seems tasteless to me, on a 0.5Ω double coil dripper, the result did not give anything.

Knowing that it was a fruity one, I opted for a single coil at 17W, 21W then 25W with a resistance of 1.1Ω. The power of 21W is undoubtedly the most adequate for this liquid which gives off a barely perceptible taste of cherry candy. A sweet taste, maybe even too sweet for some, but it is more for a greedy aspect that this liquid is made. Yet the flavor is not there and the lack of dosage of aromas is undeniable.

Regarding the hit, the 4.5mg / ml correspond to my feelings, just like the volume of vapor which conforms to a percentage PG / VG in 60/40, it remains average.

My mood ticket on this juice

Flavor Art's Cherryl has a promising cherry candy scent, but the satisfaction ends there. Because on the vape side, this liquid is sweetish with a sweet taste that lacks aroma. It's quite frustrating to have such a nice scent and not be able to benefit from it in the flavor, since in the mouth we have no aroma that confirms the true orientation of this juice: fruity or greedy?

Looking more closely at the composition, actually 50% goes for propylene glycol and 40% for vegetable glycerin therefore necessarily 10% water and aroma, were not enough to provide enough convincing taste exhalation in the mouth . If this is acceptable for certain flavors such as mint, the cherry obviously has other constraints that have not been sufficiently taken into account in my opinion, on this product.

Result, I remain on my hunger concerning this perfume which nevertheless gave me very envy.
