We are on an exceptional liquid. At that price, I expect flawlessness, so what about this nectar?
We are on a well-developed packaging but it is already seen and initiated in part by the brand. However, we remain sober with plenty of information on the liquid, affixed to a label that covers a cardboard packaging that protects the glass bottle.
This bottle contains a juice with a beautiful amber color, accompanied by a card presented as a menu with a lot of information.

This product was designed in California, and contains alcohol and water. However, all standards are respected to be safe and legal.
The aromas that constitute the flavor of Castle Long Reserve are based entirely on natural products.
After maceration for three weeks in oak barrels, the liquid was filtered by a patented process before bottling in order to rid it of any residues.
Beyond a lot number, we also have a barrel number with all the dates of barrel and bottling.

Well here it is! I'm not really disappointed with the packaging, but given that the Castle Long reserve costs around 10 euros more than the “normal” Castle Long, I would have liked the set to benefit from this notable difference as well. So, you will find me a little finicky, but I believe that a cardboard box with a label and a thin explanatory sheet in addition to the classic bottle with a pipette is not enough to justify its price. Although the whole is extremely well provided in information, the graphics are only supplemented by different fonts and sizes of characters, on beige backgrounds which nevertheless gives a certain nobility to this packaging.

Comments on the taste of the juice
We are in a feeling of well-being. Hardly the bottle opened, we feel the first aroma, that of Bourbon very dry. It goes very well with almond and brown sugar, I would even say it has the smell of nougatine but a little less caramelized. Vanilla is also present and nicely rounds this set. Then comes a touch of coconut that stays in the mouth. I am a fan of coconut, I regret that there is no advantage, because this aroma scents light touches a global flavor wonderfully worked.
It is difficult to perfectly define this e-liquid which also has a very deep woody note that resonates more like a sensation than a flavor. The lightness of this composition lies in the judicious mixture because it is a powerful juice from the opening of the cap which gives you an impression of “concentrate”.
If all the constituents are familiar to you and you like them, this is a great nectar!

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
With such a liquid, there is no need to make resistances too low when increasing the power. First because at this price, I just want to taste it without seeing it evaporate at high speed, but also because these flavors are sweet with a very strong character.
Whatever the strength or power chosen, this liquid will adapt to deliver the best of its aromas. Depending on the heating temperature, you will feel more the sweet scents of almond and coconut with a high resistance (higher than 1.5 ohm), however bourbon and woody notes will be more present on low resistance at the expense of fruits .
I enjoyed the middle of the taste I tasted in the evening after eating in front of a good movie, on the couch. Like a digestive, he knows how to be appreciated.
Although it is possible to vape Castle Long reserve all day, I prefer to keep it for the evening at a peaceful time of the day, as a relaxation.

My mood ticket on this juice
An exceptional, powerful liquid with a strong character. Do not forget that this liquid was bathed in a barrel for three weeks to give it that unique rustic note of "oak wood".
All the ingredients blend beautifully, I feel that the alcohol has accelerated the maturation to give it the impression of concentrated strong in taste. The hit and the density of the vapor are very present whereas this liquid is given in common proportions of PG / VG in 50 / 50. The fluidity of the juice is well controlled, neither too liquid nor too thick. It also has a beautiful amber color perfectly clear, which gives it an impression of purity, probably due to the rigorous filtering it has undergone.
In the end, we have a little wonder here. Certainly, I will not vaporize it every day but on special moments, selfishly, like a precious treasure while taking a lot of pleasure.
If I had to make a comparison between the Castle Long and the Castle Long Reserve, it is on the intensity, the density, the power of the taste (more concentrated) and this slight woody note, almost smoky, which brings a slight difference to the taste.
A price difference, certainly due to the drastic processes he has undergone.
