Solevan-France develops, conditions and supplies e-liquids for several brands including Hips. The range from which this juice comes, the Border, includes eight original flavors packaged in opaque glass vials, which cannot pass through UV radiation (the same as Thenancara uses) equipped with a dropper poorly suited to our use. A cardboard box contains your juice and, good surprise, a pipette cap is also there, a welcome attention worthy of a premium, which are the creations of the All Day range.
The Solevan-France site is very prolific in terms of information, even though it is only intended for professional resellers or possible range creators. Meticulous care is taken throughout the development until your atomizer. The quality requirement is one of the strengths of this French manufacturer. For a reasonable price we are therefore in the presence of a well presented juice, from a large national laboratory and which promises a "Surprising taste explosion" for "Exclusive 50/50 recipe" and a "Maximum intensity".

Only the original cap has child safety, the pipette cap does not have one.
Compliance with regulations is exemplary here and the label is a model of its kind. The proportion of PG / VG is certainly written in characters that are difficult to read, but this information and all the others are reproduced on the box in much more visible form.
"Alcohol-free flavor extracts" The site provides us with the page dedicated to the range, phew! We can take the wheel quietly after emptying a flask, it's reassuring…. But there is water !!! It's terrible, what do you want, life is sometimes strewn with pitfalls of traps and poisons, such as this horrible substance ... Courage, some have survived, of which I am to tell you about it, milli quality water -Q (maximum purity) in tiny doses inhaled, will not kill you immediately, you can finish your tank with ease.

A very complete and very practical packaging given the price charged by resellers, this demonstrates a desire to respect both the liquid and the customer, which is not always the case for other manufacturers, fortunately rare in the hexagon.
The graphic design of the label of the test bottle that I have in front of me, however, does not resemble the one presented on the site for the Border, and that I chose as a photo of one, here. Here is a reproduction of it so much words fail me to describe the emotion that his vision aroused in me. (notice the very timely purple background)

Comments on the taste of the juice
The color of this juice calls out to me. Even though I know that "Solevan France assures you of the perfect conformity of its products with the legislation (Sic)» and "Our French-made e-liquids are composed of vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol and food flavors made in France and strictly meeting the standards in force (re-sic)" . Nowhere on the site have I encountered any allusion to the colored additives still frequently used by our English-speaking neighbors which they happily abuse and not only in e-liquids (my attempts to reach a competent person on the phone in this period of preparation for the Vap'expo did not end…. I am therefore not in a position to certify or not the presence of dyes, but….)
I also know that to get green, you need yellow (so far, it is fine) and blue (there, it is much worse). Because from my point of view, green, this juice is certainly and rather flashy I would even say…. In the absence of further details, I will content myself on this subject, to point out the thing to you without more.
A scent that smells a bit like Snake Oil, a taste of liquorice with peppermint and icy mints, perhaps without anise, this juice is not foreign to me in its fundamentals.
In the vape it's true, it explodes, rather dry and moderately sweet, its dominant is liquorice, which the mints sublimate in good harmony. The palate is lastingly full, the freshness in the mouth also persists and the peppermint provides a spicy sensation quite in the general tone.
This Border is fiery, the exhalation through the nose completes your awakening senses, to say the least, a fullness that is both fresh and spicy, which liquorice coats with its subtle but consistent flavor. I appreciate it all the more as I love licorice.
The small description at the start of the test is quite relevant, Solevan holds a successful variation of a blend offered many times, dosed perfectly, for a remarkable length in the mouth, a very good juice.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
Due to the well-dosed preparation of its constituents and the intensity that it diffuses in the vape, Border does not need a little boost in terms of power to express its full potential.
Its very fluid base makes it compatible with any ato as long as it suits you. An assembly between 0,5 and 2ohms and the adequate power will satisfy your feelings and the AFC will refine your pleasure to your taste, in hot or cold, tight or airy vape.
This juice is, however, “loaded” (in dyes?) And will deposit a scale on the coils with narrow chamber as the proprietary resistors often offer Avoid long hits and overheating, to limit their formation too quickly.
Border is not designed for cloud lovers, although it does offer a fair amount of vapor. As a liquid with a strong temperament, you will be careful to choose the moment to take a break, in my opinion, well before meals, if you intend to fully enjoy the aroma of your dish of the day.
