The Végétol® brand was created by the Xérès laboratories based in Poitiers. This unit produces liquids which have the particularity of not containing propylene glycol in the base of their recipes. Instead, we find Végétol®.
Végétol® is a component obtained by biofermentation of vegetable glycerin. This process is commonly used in food and thus offers several advantages:
- The juices obtained are 100% natural and free of propylene glycol.
- It helps stabilize nicotine in its natural form. The assimilation of the substance is therefore faster and effectively reproduces the effect sought by the former smoker.
- It is non-irritating to the mucous membranes and respiratory tract and does not dry out the mouth and throat.
- The lifespan of the coils is extended thanks to the absence of vegetable glycerin.
The juices offered by the brand are divided into three ranges:
- The Végétol® Phyto range composed of 80% Végétol® base and 20% olivein, the first glycerin from Mediterranean olive trees.

Comments on the taste of the juice
Blonde is typically “classic”. When opening the vial, the tobacco scents are really very light, the smell is sweet and pleasant.
Blond has a very present aromatic power. Indeed, the flavors of tobacco are clearly identifiable when tasting it. A tobacco that is both dry and very light with subtle salty taste notes bringing the session to a close. A discreet, even neutral, non-aggressive blond tobacco flavor, reminiscent of so-called “light” cigarettes.
The vapor obtained is round in the mouth, the hit obtained is really gentle and proves, by the lack of irritation during tasting, the effectiveness of the Végétol® present in the composition.
The homogeneity between the olfactory and gustatory feelings is perfect.

Blond is intended for use with small pod-type devices or boxes with a power range between 15 and 30 W.
I chose the Pod Refill by Pulp with a resistance of 0,8 Ω in order to obtain a tight draw to maintain the sensations sought by former smokers. This configuration is, in my opinion, ideal for this type of classic liquid, especially since the tobacco flavors are very light, an air draw would blur them even further.
