Comments on the packaging
After the two UFO tobacco versions, Classic Coppola and Classic Lynch, Pulp is expanding its My Pulp range, made up of twelve liquids, this time inviting us to a fruity break in a black grape version: Black Pearl.
This vial contains 50 ml of liquid, with a capacity of 75 ml, so you can nicotine it from 3 to 6 mg/ml, by adding one or two boosters. If you want to vape it in 0, the manufacturer recommends adding a neutral base of 15 ml in 50/50 PG/VG. This is inevitable, this juice therefore displays a PG/VG rate of 50/50. Its price will be $19.90. The detachable tip for inserting nicotine is not an artifice, and is very practical, let's point out that!
So, for this Black Pearl, literally translated from English as black pearl, Pulp announces to us the delights of a bunch of black grapes, sweet and juicy, with a twist of freshness.
Let's focus on this main ingredient:
The history of grapes dates back to 6 BC since we find traces of them in Central Europe: Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. Black grapes contain 000 grams of fiber, compared to 2,1 grams for white grapes. The dark color of the fruit is linked to the high dose of anthocyanin – a natural pigment – in black grapes. This natural pigment is also found in other fruits such as blackberries, cherries, blueberries and plums.
This is all well and good, but what type of black grape will be used in the Black Pearl: Alphonse Lavallée, Prima, Lival, or Muscat de Hamburg?
All we have to do now is to elucidate this mystery with a good old cloudy vape!

Comments on the packaging
The graphics of the Black Pearl are no exception to the rule of its eleven cousins in the My Pulp family.
There we find, in relief, the logo and the name of the range, clearly visible on the label, overlooking the name of the juice enveloped in a cloud and its description, i.e. black grape. All this on a silver background variegated with mauve, purple and white. In short, “it rocks”!
But tell me, isn't Black Pearl the name of a certain Jack Sparrow's boat in Pirates of the Caribbean? I see you coming, it could also be a jazz album by Jimmy Mc Griff or, more rock, an LP by Pat Travers. If I think about it, it could happen to me, I would opt more for cinematographic work, after Classic Coppola and Classic Lynch.
Pulp revisits its Hollywood classics, concocting juices worthy of the name and magnificent packaging. I agree without flinching.

Comments on the taste of the juice
The Black Pearl has been sliding across Caribbean waters for months.
The more the fog dissipates, the more the coasts take shape: land, land in sight! On the bridge, with a shrewd and perfidious eye, pistol and musket in his belt, Captain Jack Sparrow insults his crew to speed up the maneuver. This treasure was a curse, we must get rid of it as quickly as possible.
However, a slight grin appears on his face. Jack knows it, he keeps another loot in his holds which will comfort him when the time comes: a black grape, whose name he himself named in homage to his ship: the Black Pearl.
Let's leave friend Jack to his curse, let him drop anchor. We have a tasting coming up.
So, this black grape? Well, by the smell already, we're in the thick of it. It’s very representative of the statement, it’s proven. Vaping now. At the start of the puff, the grapes show their nose. I would say it is a “Lival”, pulpy, firm, juicy and sweet. We are definitely on the fruit side, I would say more sweet. We are far from the syrup in the cardboard box, fortunately.
Don't expect a big “loaded” juice, this grape is quite fine, which avoids nausea. In the second part of the vape, I still notice another aroma, halfway between eucalyptus and licorice. In my humble opinion, it was added to break the overly sweet side of the grape and give freshness as naturally as possible.
This is where the work of flavorists lies: day after day, modifying the product to deliver a completed composition by going from sketch to work.
Since we are talking about freshness, it is clearly present from the beginning to the end of puff. It is not stubborn, your gums will not suffer.
A fresh fruity liquid, worked with finesse, which will remain light to enjoy regularly.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
For this tasting, the Black Pearl being a fresh and sweet fruity, I obtained a good rendering of flavors at 35 W on Aspire Atlantis GT. Heating it a minimum seemed wise to me, given its slightly greedy side.
You can, if you wish, just as easily use it from MTL to RDL. However, the PG/VG rate being 50/50, be careful with large clearomizers, which require a higher viscosity.
This liquid has a fresh sound, it will be welcome in the morning or in the afternoon. But if you prefer it as an aperitif, do as you wish! To each their own, these are the joys of vaping!
Recommended Moments
- Recommended times of the day: Morning, All afternoon during everyone's activities

My mood ticket on this juice
By working with a well-known fruit from our heritage, Pulp strives to provide us with a liquid close to the fruit and our friend Jack will not say the opposite.
So hoist the main sail and enjoy the work.
To do this, the pirate in you must appreciate finesse, but also have a slight penchant for licorice: a sine qua non condition.
This Black Pearl will not leave anyone indifferent. The flavorists from Pulp are on deck and pulling the strings, even the ropes, of a successful alchemy, to hang a Top Vapelier.
