Today we are attacking a big name in the vape, the internationally known Halo brand.
Manufacturer since 2009, the American firm has conquered the world of vaping. With flavors initially focused on tobacco and mints, their catalog has grown and also offers us fruity and gourmet liquids, enough to satisfy all vapers.
The Torque 56, which has accompanied the brand since its inception, is therefore our legendary liquid of the day!
The “Shake “N” Vape” range, sold for €22.90, offers 100 ml bottles containing 50 ml of overdosed aroma. We can therefore easily add one or two boosters, or even more if the taste seems too powerful and if you need it.
There are several versions of Torque 56: a 10 ml format with different nicotine levels (0, 3, 6, 12, and 18 mg/ml) at the price of 5.50 € as well as a DIY version in a 10 ml vial at the price of 6.90 €.
Mounted on a 50/50 ratio of PG / VG, we can expect a very good compromise between flavors and vapor.
To incorporate the booster(s) or the neutral base, you will have to remove the lid, no removable pipette here.
For the review, my Torque 56 e-liquid was lengthened with 10 ml of neutral base and 1 nicotine booster, which gives me a total of 70 ml of liquid for a rate slightly lower than 3 mg/ml of nicotine.
A precision however: I had started to test this juice with the addition of a single nicotine booster. The aromas being too pronounced for my taste, I therefore added 10 ml of neutral base in 50/50. After another little steep time, it was more in line with my taste.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects
For a product made in the USA, the main French obligations are respected.
We also find some precautions for use as well as a small user manual for the Shake'N'Vape in French.
The DDM, the batch number as well as the barcode for the reseller is present on a square with a white background, the presence of a QR code is there, which I flashed X times without giving me any information, or even re-transfer to any website.
On the other hand, no mention of the laboratory which manufactures the liquid. No UFI number yet mandatory since January 1, 2021 and customer contact refers to a Dutch distributor. Nothing disqualifying though. Indeed, it is possible that the liquid is manufactured before 2021 and that the distributor in question is the official importer of the brand in Europe.
In the absence of further information, I therefore confine myself to mentioning it without altering the note. For a US liquid, it's already not so bad!

Comments on the packaging
Halo is a well-known packaging on a blue background with its little devil with fiery hair. Always nice and perfectly done.
We see the name of the preparation appear roughly, namely Torque 56, and a brief but telling reminder of the flavor: “Classic intense”.
All the other information is present, the reading is clear, no need for a magnifying glass, it's perfect.

Comments on the taste of the juice
I noticed during the tasting, several notes which pleasantly surprised me compared to what one can expect from a powerful tobacco.
The tobacco base undeniably draws on the brown but is also adorned with some blondeness that evokes a blend. The balance is remarkable with beautiful flavors, a slightly sweet touch and a marked and pleasant length in the mouth.
In this liquid, there is also licorice and a subtle minty effect at the time of inspiration. This typifies the tobacco and further strengthens the hit and the aromatic power.
I also notice the discreet presence of citrus and spice notes, indefinable, which adds to the complexity of the liquid.
The recipe is solidly balanced and offers a range of remarkable expressiveness. It won't please everyone, but discerning palates will find what they're looking for.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
With a strong aromatic power, even with my addition of 10 ml of neutral base, the Torque 56 imposes itself from the head and the shoulders. To vape at a warm or hot temperature, according to your desires.
Whether in MTL or DL, passing through all the intermediate levels, he will be able to impose himself without any problem.

My mood ticket on this juice
Although not a fan of the brand, I liked the Torque 56.
Surprising, complex, mixing notes that are a priori antagonistic, the juice is a frank gustatory success that the commercial success of nine years does not deny. I wouldn't make it an all day on a personal basis but, for others, it will easily become one.
With a score of 4,38 out of 5 on the Vapelier protocol, this liquid ranks at the top of the table. Could it really be otherwise when we talk about a juice that has been able to face all the revolutions of the vape without moving?
