Comments on the packaging
We could say that custard is a category in itself in the gourmet vaping space. Used a thousand times by e-liquid manufacturers, the recipe changes relatively little. There is vanilla, a lot of vanilla, cream, more or less marked depending on the references and the rest is at the discretion of the flavorists. Pepper, rum, caramel, nuts… the variations are as numerous as the products multiply. Some brands have even made it a specialty and the variations follow one another, resembling each other or not, like wild rabbits during the breeding period.
We could also say that today it seems inconceivable to create a self-respecting collection of juices without sacrificing to the goddess Custard! Positive fact: gourmets have a wide choice. Negative fact: comparison becomes the norm. And sometimes it’s not easy…
Taffe-elec has perfectly understood the issue and presents to us in its range the aptly named Vanille Custard which thus joins the delicacies offered to us by the manufacturer such as La Bête, excellent in its category. We dare to hope that this imposed figure will be as successful.
Like the other liquids in the distributor's impressive catalog, entirely developed by him and manufactured by a partner laboratory, Vanilla Custard is free of sucralose and comes to us in two formats.
The first, in 50 ml (when you like it, you don't count) is in a 70 ml capacity bottle, which allows you to add, of your choice, one or two boosters to access 3 mg/ml or 6 mg/ml. The second, a 10 ml, presents different levels of nicotine: 0, 3, 6 and 11 mg/ml. Enough to cover a majority of needs.
Both are assembled on a 50/50 PG/VG base, ideal for its versatility, which will allow the use of almost all vaping devices. And if the small format will cost you €3.90, i.e. €2 less than the average for the category, the large format will cost you €9.90, i.e. €10 below the average!!! Just that, but we're starting to get used to it with Taffe-elec, it's excellent news!

If Taffe-elec has developed its own in-house range, we see here the professionalism with which they created it. Nothing exceeds, all legal and security elements are present in the call. It is done with great application.
Bravo also for the transparency. The brand indicates on the bottle the presence of a chemical compound likely to be allergenic. I reassure you, however, that if the approach is excellent in terms of health, it has very little chance of affecting you personally. But if you know you have a particular and documented sensitivity, you are aware.

Comments on the packaging
I have already had the opportunity to say all the good things I thought of the packaging, very clear and at the same time refreshing in its design. Here, no surprise, we take the formula that works and we just change the illustrative elements without touching the concept. Pots of cream and orchid flowers give the flavor of the recipe. Because yes, vanilla is indeed an orchid!
It's well done, attractive in its simplicity which does not prevent a certain elegance and, what's more, the information is perfectly readable. What better ?

Comments on the taste of the juice
The first sensation is the relative dryness of Vanilla Custard. While we might expect a creamy, even fatty cream, we are looking at something more ascetic here. Closer ultimately to a vanilla flavor without cream. This is not disqualifying however, it is just disturbing if you are used to cutting custards with a knife!
The main flavor lies in Pomponna vanilla, recognizable by its very floral taste. This is yet another surprising choice. Generally, we use either Planifolia vanilla or Tahitian vanilla, known to be more delicious. We can clearly see that the flavorist has tried to stand out and this is undoubtedly a legitimate concern in order to exist among the myriad of competing products.
A slight note of nuts can be discerned imperceptibly, upon taking a puff. I will not specify my thoughts, not being 100% sure of the fruit concerned. This ultimately adds a little deliciousness to the whole thing.
The whole thing is rather pleasant, undeniably, but the bias towards making very clear-cut choices distances the liquid a little from its subject. If you're looking for a floral vanilla, you'll be won over, though.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
Best vaped in MTL on a pod or a restricted draw clearomizer. Too much air excessively enhances the floral aspects of the liquid. Vanilla Custard goes very well with tea or exotic fruits. Instead, favor a temperature warm enough to express the gourmet aspects.

My mood ticket on this juice
Here is a liquid that will cleave. Some will find it perfectly to their taste, lovers of realistic and vegetable vanillas. Others will happily ignore it because it is not gourmet enough for their taste.
Of course, I advise you to form your own opinion by testing, for example, a 10 ml. For €3.90, you risk nothing except being pleasantly surprised.
