Comments on the packaging

After Hokkaido, La Vape Insulaire takes us on a trip to Long Island. Clearly, the brand is particularly fond of the islands. On this one, less exoticism, we are in town and Brooklyn and Queens are reaching out to us for a necessarily nocturnal trip to the bowels of the Big Apple.

There won't be apples here, but other fruits will be featured. Our liquid of the day is also presented as Long Island Iced Tea and therefore joins a wide range of liquids, covering various categories and which have common characteristics.

Here tested in its 50 ml ready-to-booster version, you can obtain up to 70 ml of ready-to-vape liquid by extending the aroma present with 10 or 20 ml of booster(s) and/or neutral base. You can therefore easily juggle between 0 and 6 mg/ml of nicotine, depending on your personal needs.

However, there is a second container, in 10 ml, available here at the price of 5.90 € in 0, 3, 6 and 11 mg/ml.

If the previous liquid tested, Tea & Yuzu from Hokkaido, won me over, I therefore expect a lot from this more American version. Will I be disappointed or seduced, the suspense is at its height!!! (editor's note: speaking of fruit, wouldn't you have the melon? 🙄)

Comments on the packaging

The liquid comes to us in a pretty cardboard box very well presented on which we spot the usual markers of the manufacturer's aesthetic DNA.

The sienna earth color code fits perfectly with the vegetal, earthy aspect of tea.

A beautiful illustration gives us information on the different flavors that we will be able to find in the liquid.

The bottom of the box as well as the label is adorned with a parchment color, which therefore escapes time and trends. It's pretty, efficient and reminiscent of old products from the grocery store.

We also find the house particularity with the coordinates of Long Island and a base map.

It's well thought out, well done and very attractive.

Comments on the taste of the juice

If, when the bottle is opened, the fragrance that escapes is inevitably reminiscent of a famous iced tea drink flavored with peach, it would be a shame to confine this liquid to that. The truth is infinitely more complex.

First of all, we notice a black tea, perfectly oxidized, powerful in the mouth and carrying notable vegetable colors. Perfectly highlighted, it gives a very particular typing to the liquid.

Then comes the peach, soft but present, very sweet like a ripe fruit that explodes in the mouth and perfectly balances the bitter features of the tea.

At the end of the puff, we guess the delicacy of the Roussillon apricot, certainly more subdued but which pleasantly colors the fruity cocktail. The marriage between the two summer fruits is known to work, it is no exception to the rule here.

Everything is bathed in a very restrained freshness which is perfectly in line with the aromatic composition.

The liquid is powerful, in every sense of the word. Not only are we not looking for the taste but in addition, we can only fall for the general quality of the aromas as well as the accuracy of the balance.

A great number in terms of recipe and an impeccable result to recommend very widely to lovers of tea and fruity delicacies.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

Perfect for enjoying a little freshness in hot weather, Long Island Tea remains easy to live with. Adapted to all types of atomizer by its viscosity, it will benefit from being a little airy to develop its aromas. RDL or DL required, with warm/cold temperature.

In osmosis with all the moments of pleasure of the day, it will also vape well in allday. To avoid however on a coffee, the two tastes do not match at all.

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: Morning, Morning - tea breakfast, End of lunch / dinner with a digestif, All afternoon during everyone's activities, Early evening to relax with a drink, End of the evening with or without herbal tea, at night for insomniacs
  • Can this juice be recommended as an all-day vape: Yes

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.81 / 5 4.8 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

It's no longer a surprise, La Vape Insulaire offers good liquids, we know it now. That said, I have a particular affection for this Tea from Long Island which skilfully mixes herbality, fruit and delicacy. No doubt because the freshness, although real, never harms the aromatic hold and the liquid knows how to be strong in taste.

A Top Juice for a nice balance. Enjoyable!
