We're not going to lie, pods are on the rise this years this time. These small systems have evolved over time, in terms of aesthetics or performance, with one strong point common to all and not insignificant: their ease of use!
All these qualities allow this type of equipment to reach a wide audience, from first-time vapers who do not want to get lost in countless settings that are superfluous for them or quite simply for the most experienced looking for a simple configuration, usable instantly and which can be very easily carried everywhere due to its discretion.

Faced with this observation and the ever-growing demand for this type of product, Pulp, a large French manufacturer of liquids, launched itself into this market (this is not its first attempt, in fact) and perfectly understood the challenge of such a device as well as the specifications desired by users.
Pulp offers us a very easy to use system, the Pod Flip, which consists of a Starter Kit comprising a rechargeable battery and a magnetic capsule inside which the liquid is located. These kits are available in ten different versions which correspond to the ten flavors currently available. These various flavors are also available alone so they can be used with your starter kit.
Likewise, the battery is also offered alone, which is practical for having a second one with you when the first is empty, this will allow you to vape for longer and with peace of mind.
Come on, enough chatting, let's take a closer look at this little piece of equipment.
The Stater Kit offers us a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 500 mAh as well as a liquid cartridge containing 2 ml of juice. The base of the recipe is balanced and displays a PG/VG ratio of 50/50. It uses nicotine salts for smoother and faster absorption of the substance. Different nicotine levels are available, the values offered display levels of 0, 10 and 20 mg/ml, enough to satisfy most users.
The cartridge containing the liquid has a mesh resistance with a value of 1,2 Ω. This configuration will be exclusively reserved for indirect inhalation (MTL) due to the presence of nicotine salts in the recipe but also to provide the type of draw desired and sought after for the target audience. This draw is closest to that provided by classic cigarettes.
How does it work?
Well it's quite simple, just remove the cap from the inhalation tip, separate the two components and turn the cartridge over to unlock the system. The pod will then flash once to indicate that it is ready to use. The cartridge and the battery are held very well thanks to the two magnets present on each component of the kit which do their job remarkably well. No special adjustment buttons here, just pull on the mouthpiece. The suction takes place automatically and triggers the heating of the integrated resistance. Once the cartridge is emptied, simply clip in a new one. When the battery is exhausted, it will flash ten times. It can then be recharged easily and quickly via the USB-C port located on the side. Once recharged, the steady light present during recharge will then turn off.
I really appreciated the ingenious trick which means that when you clip the two parts upside down, the system locks. This state is indicated by the presence of the inscription “Lock” obtained by the association of the two “blocks” below the pod. Another very useful little detail, the liquid cartridge has a small cap to prevent possible leaks, these two tips greatly facilitate the transport of the device, well done!
Who says pod says, in principle, small size. The Pod Flip is no exception to the rule since it displays, once the two parts connected together, dimensions of 70 mm in height (taking into account the mouthpiece), 38 mm in width and a depth of 18 mm . On the scale, the pod shows a value of 40 g, there is no doubt that it will be perfectly at home in a shirt or pants pocket!
The material used for the pod is plastic, a fairly nice plastic that is pleasant to the touch with smooth and shiny finishes that are very well made and finished.
As seen above, the battery has a capacity of 500 mAh. It can be recharged directly with a smartphone USB-C cable or the one offered by the brand on their site displayed at €3,00, the recommended power supply is 5V/2A. Fully charging takes approximately 1/2 hour.
How does it vape?
The ease of use of the pod is verified during its use. The automatic draw works wonderfully. The hit is present but remains quite mild thanks to the nicotine salts. The juices in my possession have a nicotine level of 10 mg/ml. The hit is logically accentuated with the rate of 20 mg/ml also offered by the brand.
The volume of vapor is quite discreet and is close to that obtained by cigarette smoke. The draw is very tight, ideal for those wanting to stop the killer! The flavors obtained are precise and very pleasant!
This is a kit that keeps all its promises both in terms of ease of use, taste sensations and draw. Add to this observation a really competitive price, a starter kit will only cost you €9,90 (less expensive than a pack of cigarettes). Liquid cartridges are priced at €4,20 and an additional battery will cost you €6,70.
Pulp therefore offers us a simple and effective device allowing us to enter the world of vaping with childish simplicity but through the front door, bravo for this work!

Well only good!
Indeed, here with this pod we have the ideal tool for those wishing to enter the world of vaping without having to acquire technical knowledge.
The choice of flavors is varied, including fruity, gourmet and classic, which allows us to reach a wide range of future users. Using the device is as simple and intuitive as possible, what more could you ask for?
Being able to get an additional battery is a plus, it allows you to prolong the vaping experience when traveling while waiting to recharge the other one, well done!
The price is no longer a “brake” to getting started. The draw offered by this material will allow newcomers to get through the process smoothly, this transition will also be facilitated by the nicotine salts present in the liquids offering a gentle hit.
Pulp has hit hard with this Pod Flip. As someone who is not used to vaping in MTL, I must admit to having been won over and above all amazed by the taste rendering obtained by these small cartridges, so there is no doubt that this pod will easily convert smokers, it is on !
