Who has never heard of the Alfaliquid brand? This brand has a huge catalog of around 180 flavors at different nicotine levels. They have risen to the forefront of French manufacturers of e-liquids for personal vaporizers by continuously imposing a strict manufacturing process. And that's not all, Alfaliquid has obtained AFNOR certification for their e-liquid. But what is this AFNOR label?
AFNOR certification is a guarantee of safety for the consumer. It is objective proof that the product purchased has the characteristics defined in a standard or a reference and that it is regularly checked.
This Nuts & Custard is a gourmet type juice with the flavor of roasted hazelnut, salted butter caramel, praline and bourbon vanilla cream. It is put on a ratio of PG / VG of 50/50 at the rate of 3 mg / ml for the version that I obtained from our partner for the test.
Regarding its packaging, several options will be offered. The 10 ml format at rates of 0, 3, 6, or 11 mg / ml of nicotine which will be exchanged for the sum of 5.90 €. Another alternative with the 50 ml format at the rates of 3 mg / ml and finally, the 50 ml format at the rates of 6 mg / ml. For these last two options, you will be asked for the sum of 24 € and some hazelnuts.
Why have these options for the rates of 3 and 6 mg / ml for the 50 ml formats? By purchasing one or the other option, you will get a complete pack which contains in its pretty cardboard box, a bottle filled with 50 ml of base and a booster for the 3 mg / ml version. And for the other alternative, you guessed it, a bottle filled with 40ml of base and two boosters.
Because yes at Alfaliquid, in this “Instinct Gourmand” range, we cannot put our own boosters, why would you tell me? I am simply answering you that, in this kit, most of the aromas are in the booster sold with it. In addition, you might as well keep a certain consistency with the product that was thought out upstream by the design team.

You don't become number one like that. At Alfaliquid, it's more than square (I would even say it goes straight). Whether it's on the cardboard box, the base bottle, the nicotine booster (s), everything is really clear, crisp and precise. All mandatory and legal information is included on each container. Whether it is the composition of the base or the booster. The DDM, batch number, consumer service, everything is really clean.
I can even tell you that inside this kit, there is an explanatory note with some precautions for use. This is the first time that I see this and there is nothing better to start in the vape with such a box.

Comments on the taste of the juice
In the olfactory test, the roasted hazelnut comes out in the foreground (no doubt about it) then, it is the turn of a praline-type topping. For the rest of the recipe, I do not perceive anything more because the 2 flavors come to direct the feeling as absolute master.
On the taste test, on inspiration, the hazelnut is there and of a fairly strong aromatic power and well transcribed, with light touches of caramel and praline (which is not unpleasant, quite the contrary). What I find unfortunate between these two alternation of flavors is the lightness in the mouth of the praline compared to this hazelnut which is persistent throughout the inspiration.
At the expiration, the hazelnut is still present and persistent. Then suddenly comes a touch of vanilla, which is very well done. But this is hidden by the lingering nutty flavor. I find that a shame for the whole juice.
I find that the balance, between all these flavors, is not respected. The hazelnut takes over the caramel and praline a little too much. In addition, the vanilla does not round the end of the vape enough. All these tastes are fair, even realistic, but with a dosage that leaves me, suddenly, a little over my hunger.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
All the profiles of greedy and ardent nuts vapers will be won over by this Nuts & Custard from the “Instinct Gourmand” range. This liquid can be combined in as many atomizers as you wish thanks to its ratio in PG / VG of 50/50. In addition, I recommend it for moments of relaxation either in the morning for breakfast or, conversely, in the evening in front of a good movie, accompanied or not by a good digestif. Personally for the test, I tasted it all day but the evening was undoubtedly the most appropriate.
I would also like to add that we should not stay on first impressions. Why are you going to tell me?
At the start of the test, despite a persistence of the hazelnut (as said previously), the juice asserts itself as the cotton and / or resistance erodes. After several refills of my tank, the hazelnut is reduced and there is still a pleasant juice to vape.

What does a hazelnut say when it falls into the water? I'm “nuts” (I know, I clown in a second language).
The Nuts & Custard from the “Instinct Gourmand” range obtained a score of 4.61 / 5 on the Vapelier protocol. What makes him a Top Juice. These flavors are quite realistic with a sweetness as one could wish. Despite a harmony of flavors that I find too directed towards this hazelnut, it is not omnipotent in the mouth but it does not leave enough room for the expression of other flavors. Fans of this nut will be won over, I'm sure.
