Comments on the packaging

It is in Gascony in the Lot et Garonne that TeVap develops its production of French e-liquid of which Licorice-Menthe is part. It is a fresh and delicious liquid contained in a 10ml transparent plastic bottle. Basic packaging for a bottle without image for a product located in the mid-range at 6,90 euros.

On first use, the cap is sealed to a ring attached to the bottle to certify that it is new. As soon as it is opened we discover a very fine tip, associated with the flexible material of the bottle, it will be used everywhere in all circumstances.

This Licorice-Mint is available in several levels of nicotine, the panel is wide to satisfy a maximum of vapers since it exists in 0, 6, 12 and 16mg / ml.

For the base liquid, we remain on a fairly fluid product shared between propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin at 50/50 PG / VG which favors both the flavors and the density of the vapor.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

All pictograms are present. Very big in a white diamond bordered in red, we have that of dangerousness with its widely recognizable exclamation point (by the presence of nicotine in 6 mg / ml on this test). In the vicinity, there are three others, the one intended to prohibit minors and not recommended for pregnant women, as well as the sign for recycling. On the bottle is affixed a large triangle in relief for the visually impaired, a precaution doubled if we consider that such a relief is already present and molded on the top of the cap.

Labeling is done on two levels. A first part is visible on the bottle, with a second part that requires lifting the first to reveal all the inscriptions. Overall, we find all the useful information on the surface label, such as the composition, various warnings, the nicotine level, the percentage PG / VG, the capacity as well as the name of the product and its manufacturer.

The DLUO with the batch number are written under the bottle, but these inscriptions are fragile and risk being easily erased.

The other part that needs to be revealed is a leaflet providing details on the handling of the product, its storage, the warnings and the risks of side effects. We also have the name of the laboratory with the contact details of the service that can be reached by phone or email if necessary.

The cork is perfect and is an important point for the safety of children and the assurance of good protection.

Comments on the packaging

The packaging is judicious, with this double label. Not only to provide all the information, but above all to keep a format and sufficiently legible inscriptions, without the need for a magnifying glass. However, devoid of drawing, photos or image, the graphics seem quite simple to me considering its price range. The background of the label has a burlap look in a brown-beige color reminiscent of the hue of tobacco.

However the packaging does not have a box, TeVap offers us a sober and elegant visual in brown and blond tones. In the foreground, the brand's logo with the name “Terroir et Vapeur”, followed by the name of the liquid “Licorice Mint” and the nicotine level, on a third of the surface of the bottle. A second third is reserved for pictograms and composition, as for the third, in a black rectangle on a white background, you will find precautionary measures.

Under the visible part to lift, there is only one notice with inscriptions to inform you about this product, which is important to take into consideration.

Comments on the taste of the juice

The smell is a nice balance between aniseed licorice and a touch of mint.

But when I vape it's all the opposite, from the first aspiration, I'm invaded by a fresh mint, which takes me to the back of the throat with an aniseed licorice aroma that timidly accompanies the overall appearance. I regret a little that the freshness is as dominant and erase the taste of the aromas, but on expiration, when the mint freshness dissipates a little, I keep on the tongue a fine trace of anise and liquorice.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

Mint Liquorice is a pleasant liquid to vape and offers the possibility to increase power on a dripper. Taste does not vary with heating and even allows the mint to express itself a little more.

For a 6mg / ml the hit seems to me to correspond and concerning the vapor it is in an average density, for a typical volume of that of a liquid in 50/50 PG / VG.

My mood ticket on this juice

To summarize this column of Liquorice Mint, I will say that the mixture is nicely expressed, true and pleasant although the fresh mint aspect unbalances the composition a little, which, and I regret, has not kept in its vape, the same outlook that its smell. It's a choice, but I find it a shame to have authentic yet very good aromas, hidden under an influence that seems synthetic (menthol?).

Despite everything, the whole is pleasant to vape with these scents of licorice and anise which coat the tongue at the end of the mouth, while the mint leaves a lasting fresh taste in the throat.

The label that unfolds is a good idea to allow all information to be written on a surface, originally reduced and to maintain a correct writing format.
