Curious, which we no longer present in the world of liquid manufacturers, introduces us to the Natural range. It brings together 12 simple recipes, made in France, formulated on a 100% vegetable basis.
This is an edition aimed at vapers looking for their all-day liquid and wanting to vape more natural and healthier liquids. For this, this range uses Vegetol © instead of propylene glycol. As a reminder, the PG is the support for flavors and nicotine. Vegetol is more efficient at delivering nicotine, less irritant and more stable at high temperatures, it also carries aromas better, and finally it is not derived from petroleum.
We are going to test the Mango from this range. Presented in a cardboard box, the flexible plastic bottle contains 50ml of liquid and leaves room for the addition of two nicotine boosters if desired or 10 to 20ml of neutral base. The manufacturer recommends using boosters from the Natural 100/100 Végétol range. The recipe is therefore based on a Vegetol / VG ratio of 50/50.
Mango is also available in 10ml nicotine bottles in 0, 3, 6, 12 or 16 mg / ml at a price of 5,90 €, this for first-time vapers still very demanding in nicotine, or to simply allow you to test liquids at Vegetol. The more advantageous 50ml bottles keep a reasonable price since you will find them at 21,90 € on the manufacturer's website. However, to boost this bottle in 3mg / ml you will need to add a booster and ideally a Vegetol booster. Curieux sells for € 5,90. And there, we come to a higher price for a 60ml bottle ready to vape at 27,80 €.

At Curieux, there is no place for the “roughly”. All legal and security requirements are present. In addition, the Natural range is intended to be healthier, its recipes all based on a completely vegetable base, less irritating to the bronchi. Comments on the packaging
Curieux has accustomed us to present its liquids in a cardboard box in order to protect the bottle from light. Mango is no exception to the rule.
We have a neat, original packaging. In the Natural range, no flashy colors, no glossy paper or cardboard. From NA-TU-REL! The cardboard in the box looked like recycled cardboard. The colors are in more or less light brown tones. We find a few touches of color here and there to catch the eye. Green is attributed to the Vegetol © Inside pictogram. Red will be used for warning pictograms. And the color of our French flag to support our French athletes who left for Japan at the Olympics.
The design of the visual is funny, it is a Hindu goddess with a cat head with six arms. She is holding two kinds of mangoes. The features are fine and neat.
On both sides of the visual, we find on the box and the bottle useful information for consumption and safety. The lot number and date of minimum durability (MDD) can be found under the vial.

Comments on the taste of the juice
Ah mango… what would vaping be without this essential flavor? There are the unconditional ones who look for it in all liquids, the seasonal ones who only taste it in fine weather and… the others! Curieux offers us a duo of mangoes. So which ones? Did you know that there are over a hundred different varieties? The shape, color, size and of course the provenance are different. Very smart will be the one who finds the two mangoes used in the recipe! But I will try to translate to you what I feel.
There is no doubt about the smell that escapes from the barely opened bottle. The mango is there, juicy, ripe, sunny. This smell is very natural. I am testing on the Alliancetech Vapor Flave 22 with a 0,4 Ω coil and a vape power set to 30 W. With this configuration, I want to get a lukewarm vape that does not alter the flavor of the fruit.
On inspiration, the flavor is natural, less powerful than the smell and, I'm surprised, not very sweet. What is not to displease me, it will allow an all-day use without being quickly disgusted. The mangoes are ripe but not very juicy. The flavor is natural in the sense that there is no added sugar, no thirst-quenching effect, no parasitic freshness. Just the taste of mango. Lovers of more sophisticated flavors, go your way.
At the end of the vape, a slight bitterness is felt to make the fruit even more realistic. It does not catch the throat too much and is not unpleasant. The aromatic power of this Mango de Curieux is not very strong and this may surprise those used to more powerful and sweet liquids. Personally, that's what I liked.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
Mango is a liquid overdosed in aroma. The manufacturer recommends supplementing the bottle with one or two nicotine boosters with Vegetol © or a neutral base. Once this is done, don't forget to let your liquid rest, with the cap open, a few hours before tasting.
Mango does not have an aromatic power of phew (yes, I speak the breakfast!). So, I recommend a very restricted MTL or DL atomizer… flavor oriented. The power of the vape will be controlled and the airflow opened sparingly to keep all the substantial marrow of the liquid.
As this liquid is sucralose-free, its flavor is not very sweet. It can be used all-day without any problem as long as you like natural fruit.

Forget mangoes with a chemical taste, too sweet or with added freshness. With Curieux, you discover natural mango, without any artifice.
Some will be disappointed, not enough taste, not enough sugar, not enough artifice. But others, like me, will enjoy vaping a liquid with the simple flavor of a natural fruit. Mango therefore belongs to the Natural range.
