Comments on the packaging

Yakuza… A name that can send chills down your spine if you refer to it in Japan. But when you live in France, this is the name chosen by Vapeur France for its range of e-liquids relating to the land of the rising sun.

Among the Yakuza, the tiger is a symbol of strength and courage. He also keeps demons away. The Lime Tiger has a magnificent Japanese tiger on its box and offers us a Yuzu sorbet and sake flavor.
The Yakuza range offers its liquids in 50ml bottles accompanied by a nicotine booster dosed in 18 mg / ml. Once the mixture is done, you will get a 60ml nicotine bottle in 3 mg / ml because, obviously, the nicotine level of the bottle alone is zero.
The PG / VG ratio could not be more balanced. The price is also reasonable, you will need € 18,9 in your wallet to acquire this liquid. In short, Tiger Lime makes a “velvet legs” entry, all in balance, so as not to stand out, like a real yakuza.

Comments on the packaging

Lime Tiger by Yakuza

Protected from light in a thick cardboard box, Tiger Lime is spoiled! This box also provides all the legal and security information. The design is very Japanese, what could be more normal? I can pretty well imagine this kind of tiger tattooed on the skin of a Yakuza. Aggressive, all claws out, hypnotic eyes. This corresponds point by point to the label of the bottle, which also carries the information mentioned above. A bit redundant anyway… But I like it! It is a design that sticks to the range and to the name of the product.

The materials used are of high quality, well made. It is an entry-level liquid, I remind you and I appreciate the packaging effort of this range.

Comments on the taste of the juice

Yuzu frozen sorbet bathed in a traditional sake… Good… The color is announced from the start. I think freshness, acidity, lemon and slight bitterness. Let's see all that… I imagine the meetings of the yakuza… The traditional sake served in small glasses with naughty bottoms by magnificent graceful and cultivated geishas… I digress!

I open the bottle and the lemon scent yuzu enters my nostrils. It's a scent between lemon and tangerine. The yuzu is well transcribed.

I cock my dripper, adjust it around 25W and soak the cotton in liquid. The freshness of the sorbet immediately seizes me but it quickly gives way to the flavors of the small yellow fruit. It is a fairly sweet, slightly acidic, very ripe Yuzu. The sake is an important note since it brings a touch of bitterness at the end of the vape which attenuates the sweet effect. The whole is coherent and balanced in the feelings of flavors. The vapor is normal and has little odor. I increased the power of the vape around 35W to fight against the freshness that was a little invasive for my taste, but nothing helped. The flavors are present because the aromatic power of Tiger Lime is good, but the lukewarm sorbet… It's not great!

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

Tiger Lime is a perfect liquid for the summer. I recommend a rather airy vape to fully appreciate the flavors of the Yuzu sorbet. The aromatic power will support the opening of the airflow as you wish. On the other hand, to keep the sorbet effect, I do not recommend stepping up too much. First-time vapers can use it easily.

Personally, I did not like the vape in the morning, the freshness did not suit me at all, but who knows, on a hot day like we had this summer, I might have appreciated?

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: Aperitif, Lunch / dinner, End of lunch / dinner with coffee

My mood ticket on this juice

Tiger Lime is a perfect liquid for summer, cool without taking your mouth off. It refreshes like a sorbet and leaves a nice lemony taste in the mouth. The packaging of this range is neat, the price reasonable, so, even if it is an outlaw Yakuza, it meets the conditions of the Vapelier top-juice!
