Comments on the packaging

The hot weather has gone but fresh juices are still relevant so let's go see this P'tit Frais from the "P'tit Jus" range from Unicorn Vape. It has a PG/VG ratio of 30/70 and is only available in “shortfill” format, i.e. 50 ml of boostable aroma.

As the saying goes " Never change a winning team ". Having 60 ml vials, filled with 50 ml of e-liquid, allows room for the addition of 10 ml of neutral base in order to obtain 0 mg/ml or a 10 ml booster a 20 mg/ml in order to have a level of 3,33 mg/ml. In addition, there is a small margin left, just to have room to stir it vigorously. Personally, I would advise you, once the mixture is done, to leave it for 24 or 48 hours "quiet" (steep). It will only be better.

For today's review, my e-liquid was nicotined with a booster from our partner. At the staggering price of €5.90, this juice is obviously a very good quality/price ratio, enough to seriously ask the question at the time of purchase.

Comments on the packaging

For the packaging, Unicorn Vape will always make me laugh so much with these visuals which are always very beautiful to look at. Personally, I love it and I never tire of it. The relationship between the name of the liquid and the visual is always very well put forward. For this P'tit Frais, you will have the chance to discover a pretty penguin.

“Daddy penguin, daddy penguin, daddy, daddy, daddy penguin, daddy penguin is bored on his ice floe…” . Now that I've put this song in your head, I can move on. Thank you daddy penguin.

Concerning the essential things, beyond this pretty decor which reminds us of the polar cold, all the precautions for use are present. Normal for an arctic juice. Nothing is missing.

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 4.38/5 4.4 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

On the nose, I immediately feel a sweet, fairly realistic mint scent.

In the taste test, it thickens. At the beginning of the draw, on inspiration, the peppermint flavor is quite mild, then gradually increases. A rather well-made vegetable emulation with a very short length in the mouth.

Notes of spearmint, which some might call chlorophyll forgetting that it is a pigment and not an aromatic molecule, arrive at the end of the print. They remain present until the total expiration but disappear quickly. This aroma is well represented, well balanced. At times, the impression of having a well-known Californian chewing gum in the mouth is quite disturbing.

The aromatic power is quite light. In fact, it is not disgusting even after long periods of tasting. At the end, a very discreet sweet touch arrives. It lines your palate in a benevolent way, so that gluttony remains the primary intention.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 35W.
  • Type of steam obtained at this power: Normal
  • Type of hit obtained at this power: Light
  • Atomizer used for the review: Drag max from Voopoo
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.32 Ω
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Cotton, Mesh

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

I tested this liquid on a cartridge material. Despite its PG/VG ratio of 30/70, I had a normal to slightly dense vape. What I liked with this configuration is the slight feeling of freshness announced by the manufacturer. It's not a menthol or ice type fresh, but more of a natural refreshment.

Of course, nothing prevents you from riding a DL type atomizer with high powers. With restrictive MTL or DL oriented material, however, you will benefit from the full panoply of nuances and you may find yourself on the ice with this penguin, so charming.

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: Morning, Aperitif, Lunch / dinner, End of lunch / dinner with a digestif, all afternoon during everyone's activities, Early evening to relax with a drink, End of the evening with or without herbal tea, at night for insomniacs
  • Can this juice be recommended as an all-day vape: Yes

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.38 / 5 4.4 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

This P'tit Frais from the "P'tits Jus" range obtained a score of 4,38/5 on the Vapelier protocol. Which makes it a very good e-liquid on the market. In strong heat or placed quietly next to the fireplace, this slightly refreshing little mint will be an ally for a moment of relaxation.

This juice could become an all-day for a good number of vapers who like this type of aroma. Personally, I wouldn't splurge on it. Why ? This liquid has it all. It is very good and well balanced. Personally, I only vape it occasionally. It lacks a little something. Maybe a slightly stronger recipe with a little more sugar?

Good vape!
