I agree, starting a review with a hackneyed joke isn't the best way to catch the eye. And yet, it's true, I went to Swoke and came out with the Bisou Black Edition, na!
Those who are interested, and there are many of them, in the peregrinations of the Yvelines liquidator, already know that the Bisou is one of the brand's best-sellers and that it has been, above all, for a long time, a darling in the French vape. It must be said that with such a name, he left with a bonus. Who would refuse a kiss in such a difficult present?
So, the manufacturer wanted to give him a descendant and comes back to us with the Bisou Black Edition. It smells of black and blue fruit, this story, don't you think?
The liquid in question accommodates 50 ml of overdosed aroma in an Ozone bottle, which means that the brand performs carbon compensation, and can contain up to 75 ml of mixture. It will therefore be necessary to add 10 or 20 ml of base, nicotine or not according to your desires and needs. Personally, I extended it with a booster, which brings me to 3.33 mg/ml of nicotine but everything is still possible between 0 and 6.66 mg/ml. 😈
The base used is 50/50 PG/VG, which seems consistent for a fruity juice, which will allow all evaporation systems to use the liquid. Pod, clearo, MTL, DL, everything is possible with such viscosity.

As usual with Swoke, there is nothing to complain about on this item. Everything is clear, perfectly legal and even goes beyond the obligations of the CLP. Transparency is not an empty word for the manufacturer and the consumer is informed precisely. Pictograms, warnings, mandatory mentions… nothing is missing.
The manufacturer informs us of the presence of sucralose, citric acid and certain compounds that can be troublesome for the few people who are allergic to them. Who does better?
A dye, cochineal carmine in this case, is present and indicated in the composition. I am not a fan of this type of product, considering it useless to color a liquid intended to be vaped, but it must be granted that this one is of natural origin and does not present the same dangers as other compounds well more aggressive. Vegans abstain nevertheless.

The bottle is sober, squarely inspired by its distant ancestor, and presents us with a luscious mouth highlighted with a dark lipstick. It's elegant, simple and quite effective.

Comments on the taste of the juice
Black is black, there is hope!
The puff opens with a particularly well-worked and balanced mix of blackcurrant and blackberry. From the pearl of Burgundy, we feel the slight acidity in our head which quickly gives way to gluttony and the generous flesh of the blackberry. The berry of the forests takes the lion's share by bringing a syrupy and almost liquorice texture to the blend.
The puff ends on a softer note and characteristic of the presence of blueberry. The blue berry comes to close the tasting in a gustatory apotheosis, by introducing delicate and fragrant notes that it alone knows how to give.
A welcome freshness is present throughout the puff and lasts even after. Cold but not frosty, it goes wonderfully with fruit without ever drawing attention to itself.
The liquid is very sweet, which seems consistent with the fruits chosen.
An excellent liquid that vapes without thinking about it all the time and that delivers many sensations and nuances.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
The Bisou Black is quite the type of liquid that requires a bit of aeration to reveal itself. I therefore recommend it in RDL or DL on appropriate hardware. In MTL, it's also possible but if you want to avoid an overly syrupy effect, I advise you to add 20 ml of neutral or nicotine base to make it more natural.
Sovereign on its own in hot weather but royal in duet with a slightly bitter tonic, or even a lemon sorbet.

My mood ticket on this juice
The Bisou Black Edition has nothing to envy to the initial Bisou. It is the perfect continuity and presents qualities that are certainly different but just as real. It is typically a very addictive fresh fruity and I would not be surprised if its commercial result is at the same level as the previous one.
Top Vapelier for a "black fruit", when it's bad you have to know how to say it and when it's excellent, too!
