Casually, this exploration of part of A La Fiole's “Valeurs Sûres” range revealed some excellent surprises to me. With a paradisiacal Pineapple, a Perfumed Vanilla that I vape in allday and an Apricot Peach certainly a little inferior to the previous two but still recommendable, I was eager to open the bottle of Forest Fruits whose beautiful red color made me the eye.
What could be more normal, however? By staying as close as possible to natural flavors, the Breton manufacturer is not mistaken. The liquids follow each other and instinctively remind us of the tastes registered in our unconscious since childhood. The return to truth, to simplicity, is often good.
Like its colleagues in the range, Fruits des Bois comes to us in a 70 ml bottle containing 50 ml of aroma for a general public price of € 21.90. You can add 10 or 20 ml of booster (or neutral base) according to your tastes and needs, whether with normal boosters in 20 mg / ml or the excellent homemade booster of 10 mg / ml. A La Fiole invites us to a wild berry festival, we will not hesitate to enjoy it.
If it is always difficult to decipher a cocktail of forest fruits, it seems however that the presence of blackcurrant, blackberry and wild strawberry is obvious. The assembly is harmonious, does not ignore a welcome slight acidity to give the liquid some pep and does not need sweetening as the realism commands respect.
We think we sometimes guess a blue fruit, blueberry, but without certainty because the general flavor is compact, like a well-mixed fruit cocktail. I will not go so far as to pretend that it is cracking in the tooth, I am not in marketing but I admit that the resemblance is sometimes disturbing.
The fundamental aspect of this liquid is its lightness in the mouth which favors a good generation of vapor, textured, dense and tasty.
