The very first time I had a Mixup Labs e-liquid to review, I was dubious. Then I was conquered.
The second time, I was intrigued. And I was conquered.
Today is the third time and I'm melting on the vial like Covid on a pangolin. With greed and voracity… It is indeed the Drive Me Nuts Hazelnut from the Chubbiz Gourmand range which has only given me excellent surprises so far.
The Drive Me Nuts collection has four flavours: the peanut which we have already tested and vaped in much less time than it takes to say. The hazelnut that concerns us today and I'm already eyeing, salivating over the coconut and the almond that I still have to analyze… Sometimes, I tell myself that I'm doing a fine job! 🤩
Here we have a juice assembled on a 50/50 exclusively vegetable base. No petrochemicals here, the Basque manufacturer having chosen to offer us the healthiest products and corresponding to the highest standards.
The price of 19.90 € is very reasonable compared to the premium inclination of the brand, especially for an overdosed 50 ml of aroma. It's up to you to add the appropriate booster(s), or even a neutral base to find your sweet spot between 0 and 6 mg/ml of nicotine.
Well, I can't wait to find out if the hazelnut will give me the same positive effect as the peanut. I put on my Pikachu onesie, I make myself a coffee, it's cold, I need comfort and gluttony, it doesn't wait!

Comments on the packaging
A design perfectly adapted to the taste category of the liquid welcomes us on the label. Shards of hazelnut on a bed of flowers and vanilla pods, the La is given and the orchestra will be able to attack the score.
It's well done, it's mouth-watering and, in addition, the label modestly reveals the remaining liquid to us while having the good taste of not being intrusive.
The information, numerous, is clear and will not require a magnifying glass, monocle or microscope to be viewed.

Comments on the taste of the juice
The dominant note is characterized by a very gourmet hazelnut which seems to be a mix between the dry hazelnut found in beggar's trays for the end of the year celebrations and a fresh, juicier and milkier hazelnut.
Its taste is remarkable and is even adorned with this somewhat sticky effect in the mouth that is found in certain spreads. It hastens to cover the taste buds to better warm them up and it stays suspended in the palate for long minutes.
The star nut is adorned with a layer of creamy vanilla that we spot as a second intention and which gives body to the recipe. Vanilla made in Mixup Labs is of disconcerting quality, somewhere between orchid from Tahiti, fragrant and fruity, and planifolia from Mexico, more caramel.
The texture is creamy but just right and the sugar level is very reasonable. Both ensuring a possible and even desirable long-term vape given the balanced quality of the recipe.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
The aromatic power is strong and the Drive Me Nuts Hazelnut is a perfect allday for gourmands because it is never disgusting even on long vaping sessions. Something to have fun, either in a moderate vape with an MTL device or at the top of your lungs with a good DL ato, all hatches open.
In warm/hot temperature, it will enchant coffee or milk coffee moments but also hot chocolate moments with which it will go perfectly. And all the other times of the day, from sunrise to sunset! 😋

My mood ticket on this juice
So far, I've only tested gourmet liquids from Mixup Labs. And I must admit that the manufacturer is doing better than defending itself in the category. On the contrary, it is even a talented outsider of the genre “that we didn't see coming but which is formidable” with liquids that are certainly full and rich in sensations but also sensual and nuanced. In the future, it will therefore be necessary to count on them, I put my hand to cut!
The Drive Me Nuts Hazelnut is therefore very easily imposed, by KO on the first round. The balance, the richness of its taste, its naturalness also, impose it as a formidable candidate in the series of nut desserts.
What to spend good end of year celebrations in perfect company. If you don't have a Top Model, you already have a Top Juice!!!
