It is in a splendid black livery in the colors of piracy that the Davy Jones of the new Black Flag range from the Nice of Laboravape arrives to us.
This entire range dedicated to the Brothers of the Coast is placed under the sign of gourmet tobacco. For the moment, two references are in the catalog but there is no doubt that the family should grow over time. After all, after Davy Jones and Blackbeard, there are plenty of Jolly Roger guardians left to explore, from the Flying Dutchman to Long Ben to Black Bart.
Our robber of the day is therefore called Davy Jones, who is more of an approximate legend than a real pirate who existed but who had a second youth by appearing in the Disney franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean.
More prosaically, this is a 50ml potion without nicotine, based on a 50/50 ratio of PG / VG, sold at the correct price of 19.90 € and that we can spice up with a booster in order to obtain of 3.33mg / ml.

The Nice buccaneers know how to do it and nothing exceeds in terms of safety / health. They will therefore not be hanged from the highest yard.
They even push the professional conscience to evoke the presence of furaneol and heliotropin which are two aromatic additives obtained from plants and which should not pose any problem. Unless you have a known allergy to strawberries, pineapple, sesame, vanilla, pepper, violet or dill, don't worry about that, you don't risk anything.

The design is beautiful and very much in line with the theme chosen for the range. Between the design of the so-called Davy Jones, the black background, the copper and gothic lettering and the Jolly Roger on the tricorn, we have all the symbolism necessary to be in immersion without suffering the torture of the large hold!
We will retain the quality of the work provided by the designer and the clarity of the information on this black label which encircles a bottle of the same shade!

Comments on the taste of the juice
It is rather a gourmet tobacco here than a gourmet tobacco ...
Indeed, if the Nicot grass is present in the assembly, it is quite discreet compared to the other flavors composing the aroma. We can guess, however, a blond / brown blend, rather soft and sweet.
It mingles intimately with a rather amber rum note, present from the beginning to the end of the puff. A rum subtly arranged by a few fleeting notes of vanilla and the clear and clean presence of macadamia nuts. Sometimes, a few hints of caramel seem to color the whole.
The result is correct, more in the search for a general flavor than in the precision of each element and the recipe stands. However, the sweetness of the liquid, its very sweet appearance even if the liquid does not contain sucralose, will make it more vaporable by freshwater sailors than by real buccaneers.
This is perhaps the only downside to a well-conducted blend: not to position oneself clearly between tobacco and pastry delicacies.
The Davy Jones is therefore doing quite well but will ask to be tasted before purchase so that you are sure that its direction corresponds to your research.

My mood ticket on this juice
I had high expectations of this e-liquid. Cradled by years of tobacco vape, I was hoping for a real buccaneer twist but I came across a precious and sweet juice whose good sweet taste lacks a little power and harshness to make an illusion on the deck of a sloop.
That said, for lovers of lightly alcoholic delicacies in which tobacco interferes with discretion, it will be perfect to vape on occasional beaches during the day to enjoy a gourmet moment and naughty enough to be pleasant.
