Curaçao is a well-known liqueur made from bitter orange peel but it is also, and above all, an island in the Lesser Antilles. Strange to see how a name can be doubly evocative. Because we immediately imagine a citrus base and a solar liquid, struck with the imprint of the Caribbean. In the “Les Alizés” range, there are therefore many fruity or fruity and fresh liquids and this one will be no exception to the rule. A typical summer range which ends on a gentle slope and which will awaken the best memories of the beach and the spray that we have left.
The packaging is very clean. A 20ml plastic vial, an already appreciable quantity which allows you not to break down too quickly. An entry-level price and a “liquid recipe for beginners” positioning which makes me happy because it is often where it all starts. Proof that we can make a simple and good juice, which will be easily assimilated by a aspiring vaper and which is not satisfied with being a mono-aroma. I like the concept and the modesty of the price, as well as the info on the label, in good working order, for clarity…. solar!

Comments on the packaging
The illustrative photo is quite in the tone of the name of the juice since it represents a part of the Curacao Cruise Terminal with its colorful houses that crowd together on the quay.
The packaging is quite honest and practical, the tip being very thin and allowing easy filling of any type of device without unnecessary contortions.
The design lacks a bit of professionalism and, in spite of its colors, would undoubtedly have deserved the intervention of a graphic designer to illustrate the other juices but at this price, I do not see anything infamous. Without being beautiful or stylish, it's clean.
Some may find it useful to mention the dominant aromas on the label. I am more circumspect about it, loving that an e-liquid gradually reveals its mystery. But this is only a purely subjective opinion.

Comments on the taste of the juice
The advantage, however, of having the dominant aromas present on the label is that it radically simplifies the work of the columnist.
It's very simple, the label does not lie and we take in the mouth a gulp of citrus-scented vapor. Orange is dominant here and appears to be quite realistic, typical of a Brazilian orange with a welcome astringency that does not turn into acidity. We also feel the presence of a rather yellow and slightly tart lemon, just enough to be naughty and not too much so as not to blow the fillings. The announced yuzu is also present, bringing to the whole a note of bitterness, a little herbal, which blends perfectly with the other elements.
The whole is not overly sweet, the manufacturer having acted in the respect of the fruits above all. A hint of menthol is grafted on this fruity basket to make it fresh. Properly dosed, the freshness seems to emanate from the fruits themselves and do not interfere with the general flavor, which is very compact and credible. And if the scent of mint is sometimes felt, it is never to the detriment of the other ingredients.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
Best served at a warm / cold temperature. The viscosity of Curacao will make it usable on any device and it tolerates climbing in towers well enough, as long as you add a sufficient airflow to it to maintain the temperature that serves it best. Even on a slightly naughty dripper, he will be at ease. However, I reiterate the basic warning: this liquid contains aromas of citrus fruits and mint, I therefore advise you to use it in a stainless steel atomizer or a pyrex tank and especially not in a PMMA tank which will be more sensitive to the “corrosiveness” of the product.

My mood ticket on this juice
A real nice surprise.
Even if until now, I had cataloged the “Les Alizés” range as products only targeted at a beginner audience, I admit that Curaçao has wavered my opinion because it is an e-liquid that will be able to seduce well. beyond and reach more seasoned vapers.
This is due to a very balanced recipe but which leaves room for each aroma to exist by itself. The result is that the basket of fresh citrus fruits on offer surprises us with its realism, its eclecticism and its quality, quite simply. A juice to be vaped in summer or while eating vanilla ice cream for a fresh and relaxed taste moment.
Excellent and well done, this juice is at ease in all configurations and its astringency, freshness and balance will appeal to fruit lovers, whether they are beginners or not.
