Comments on the packaging

Ordinary plastic bottle with a thin and easy-to-use filling device, the packaging ignores an important mention: the level of PG and VG. Too bad because many vapers are very sensitive to this information. Even more pity when we see that the rate (60/40) is actually specified on the manufacturer's website.

Vapelier's note regarding the respect of various conformities (except religious): 4.38 / 5 4.4 5 out of stars

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

If we disregard the absence of any idea of proportion in the composition, it remains to be noted that the location of the lot number (below the bottle) is not really adequate for this important information which should have been included in good place on the label. Ditto for contacting the after-sales service, we would have preferred a phone number or an e-mail rather than an address, so as to be able to quickly return information in the event of a problem. If we forget these few mistakes that the brand should correct, the other mentions are clear and neat.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: No

Vapelier's note regarding packaging with regard to juice category: 3.33 / 5 3.3 5 out of stars

Comments on the packaging

The packaging is not, far from it, up to the price claims of the liquid. We are all the same on a juice at 8.40 € for 10ml, which positions it in the very high end, at almost equivalent price with well-known American e-liquids and yet, there is a simple plastic vial, generic , which will not bring any added value to your purchase. When we see the efforts made by some entry-level juice manufacturers to offer substantial packaging, we regret all the more that Flying Vap has not decided to use this weapon of seduction in its commercial arsenal.

Sensory appreciations

  • Color and product name agree ?: Yes
  • Do the smell and the name of the product agree ?: Yes
  • Definition of odor: Herbal (Thyme, Rosemary, Coriander), Sweet, Tobacco Cigar
  • Definition of flavor: Sweet, Spicy (oriental), Tobacco, Ecoeurant
  • The taste and the name of the product, do they agree ?: Yes
  • Did I like this juice ?: No
  • This liquid reminds me:
    Nothing specific.

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 3.75/5 3.8 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

Dubitative… this is the term that best suits my experience of tasting this juice. However, I tested it over several days to arrive at the most objective opinion possible.

The first impression is that of a dark and heavy tobacco from which emanate evanescent aromas of cocoa and which ends with a very pleasant note of sweet licorice. All of this is very encouraging and could have satisfied all lovers of elaborate and precious tobacco. But why then have you decided to add a big ladle of cloves to this already very harmonious whole? After a few days of vaping, it seems to me impossible that the clove is generated by the tobacco used but has been voluntarily added to the recipe, undoubtedly to reinforce its cigar aspect. But the result is very far from being conclusive, indeed we keep all the time the impression of vaping two liquids in one. A first very tobacco and well done and a second that reminds us of our worst times at the dentist.

Too bad, very unfortunate that the flavorists took this direction when they seemed to have a completely usable base as it is.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 14 W
  • Type of vapor obtained at this power: Dense
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Strong
  • Atomizer used for the review: Taifun, Expromizer, various drippers

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

Prefer to use a device generating a warm vapor. The freshness affecting the rendering of tobacco and the heat making the clove almost unbearable for my taste.

  • Can this juice be recommended as an All Day Vape: No

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 3.78 / 5 3.8 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

After having loved the first three liquids in the Flying Vap range, I expected a real firework display with this Cuban whose name resonated like a call to serve me a good drink and a good coffee. But despite everything, it is the disappointment that wins. Especially since we can fully feel the full potential of this liquid if we manage to mentally isolate the coarse load of cloves added as a counterpoint to a recipe otherwise interesting enough not to need it. A mistake in my opinion.

Of course, one could object to me that taste is an eminently subjective sense and we will be right. And this liquid will undoubtedly find its followers. But personally, I expected that the underlying finesse, which one feels good in the mouth, would be extrapolated by a different ingredient and not totally crushed by an addition of somewhat random spice.

What frustration, after having browsed the three other juices of the brand with great happiness to be stopped in this momentum by an unfinished Cuban. IF I can therefore crack one piece of advice: we should review the recipe for this liquid and review the general packaging a little because the brand retains, in any case, a very big potential by targeting true tobacco lovers. And with three successes out of four proposals, this potential is fully confirmed.
