Comments on the packaging

Space Jam, the Californian brand has the wind in its sails at the moment. The Venus is the gourmet of the range and I admit being happy to finally test it because many different opinions have flourished on the web.

The packaging is typically American but has been greatly improved by the distributor who has done a good job of adapting to the French market. However, we regret the cruel absence of the PG / VG ratio, always interesting for the consumer. Information taken, it is 50/50, which confirms the viscosity of the liquid.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

Maximum transparency for Venus which has only one dead end, that of clear contact with a consumer service. To be really frank, there is the address of the distributor but it lacks a way to contact it quickly such as a phone number or an email. In the event of a problem, it seems easier to have direct contact than to send a letter…. We are in the 21st century, the era of real-time communication, it is a shame to have overlooked this information.

A second defect concerns the raised marking for the visually impaired. It is there but presents very little relief and, although the sense of touch is much more developed among our fellow citizens suffering from an eye disease, it is probably easier to have a “clear” marking to the touch.

All the same, these are only minimal defects which should not obscure the remarkable work of the distributor to ensure Venus a beautiful transparency and compliance with what consumers are entitled to expect from an e-liquid. So, let's stay with this beautiful impression which does honor to those who have worked in this direction.

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes

Comments on the packaging

The concept of the range includes the names of planets, constellations and other elements of SF contributing to maintain the validity of the name Space Jam. It is nice and pleasant. The packaging is sober and dark apart from the color of the glass which would have deserved an anti UV treatment to protect the liquid but again, it's quibbling. The label is well designed, simple and pretty, with a clear and perfectly identifiable symbolism. A good job of development.

Venus is a planet but also the goddess of beauty for the Romans, so I expect the best for the future !!!

Sensory appreciations

  • Do the smell and the name of the product agree ?: Yes
  • Definition of odor: Sweet, Fat, Confectionery (Chemical and sweet)
  • Definition of taste: Sweet, Pastry, Confectionery
  • The taste and the name of the product, do they agree ?: No
  • Did I like this juice ?: No
  • This liquid reminds me:

That exaggeration in everything is undoubtedly a fault….

Comments on the taste of the juice

Venus is not inherently bad. It is still pleasant to vape but lacks a certain definition in the aromas to really be accomplished. The association of many sweet and creamy elements (peanut butter, toasted marshmallow, whipped cream and caramel) means that nothing really comes out and we have a diffuse impression of fatty liquid and pastry, without being able to establish a nomenclature. precise. The aromas blend and cancel each other out and it is difficult to distinguish the promised caramel from the whipped cream or the peanut butter from the marshmallow. The juice gradually becomes a little disgusting because this absence of roughness caused by the accumulation of so many flavors of the same category is boring and we are desperately trying to cling to an impression of nuts here or marshmallow by there to find itself in familiar territory.

The Venus seems to miss its point and, if the gourmands will not be really disappointed because the promise of gluttony is kept, the finest mouths will regret the absence of frank flavors and subtlety.

In the positive, we note a very creamy (still happy!) And abundant steam.

I recall all the subjectivity of an e-liquid test and invite you to taste for yourself and give your personal feedback in the comments.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 17 W

  • Atomizer used for the review: Taifun GT, Cyclone AFC
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 1.4

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

The Venus asks to be a little ridden in the towers to express a little character. At too low power, it is too diffuse to present any interest. A higher power gives it a little more presence and generates the warmth that suits it best.

My mood ticket on this juice

Dish.

It is probably an inadequate term and yet it is the one that comes to mind after three days in the company of Venus. Even after this time of testing that I believe is consistent to understand the subtleties of a juice, I remain on this platitude of flavors because nothing comes out enough to make it interesting. Whether on an all-day tank atomizer or on a very fine dripper in the transcription of flavors, we are left on our hunger.

This is undoubtedly the fault of an unimaginative accumulation of aromas from the same family, a bit like making a DIY with five apples of different varieties. We would undoubtedly obtain an apple taste but, beyond that, very clever would be the one who understood all the subtle differences….

For unrepentant gourmets, it may do the trick but if you are looking for any subtlety, it is not Venus that will offer it to you, alas.
