Comments on the packaging

Always on the lookout for inexpensive liquids, I came across a site far from the behemoths that everyone knows. Eliquide-Diy.fr is a French site that offers liquids at discount prices. He also develops his own recipes. Blackberry Yogurt is part of the Emma range which brings together thirteen liquids intended for first-jet aircraft and other cloud lovers.

Blackberry Yogurt is packaged in a 10ml flexible plastic vial. The recipe is based on a PG / VG basis of 30/70. You will find this liquid on the website with nicotine levels ranging from 0 to 18mg / ml. Newbies who have just quit smoking need high rates and they will have a choice in this range. The price of this liquid varies depending on the discounts, but I found it at € 2,29 which puts it at the entry level. Even well below the usual entry level.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

Made in France, near Paris, Blackberry Yogurt meets the health standards imposed by the legislator on the substance.

Nevertheless, on the form, I note the absence of pictograms intended for pregnant women on the box and on the vial. Most vapers do not read the instructions, I find this choice subject to debate. This is why pictograms should in principle be affixed on the label of the vial which contains the chemical elements. Beyond the purely legal aspects, it is simple common sense.

This is a small oversight, certainly offset by the presence of a notice inside the box and on which we find transparency with all the legal warnings and the usual markers.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Do the graphic design of the label and the name of the product agree? Ok
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Comments on the packaging

In a recycled cardboard box, the Blackberry-Yogurt liquid is protected from light and hazardous handling during postal transport. In view of the price, the effort is commendable.

The visual takes the color of blackberry and does not bother with frills. One color, the name of the product and the required legal information, that's it. Do not look for artistic inclinations or particular design, it is a sober packaging, boilerplate, that does the job.

After all, it fits the spirit of the company, to offer discount liquids to all vapers.

Comments on the taste of the juice

I open the bottle and the smell surprises me. It is quite chemical, not very consistent with what I expected. After this first impression, I can guess the smell of a blackberry candy, a bit like the industrial candies that children love.

In terms of taste, on inspiration, blackberries are the first to appear. The flavor has a fairly low aromatic power. It is a sweet blackberry, not very sweet and unlike the smell, rather realistic. The yogurt appears in the middle of the draw and further accentuates the sweetness of the whole. We feel it or we feel it but it remains very (too) discreet. By closing the airflow, the flavors become more precise but remain below the majority of e-liquids.

Blackberry Yogurt is certainly faithful to the flavors announced, however the insufficient aromatic power of the whole makes this e-liquid dull, which an increased aroma would undoubtedly have revealed more easily.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 20 W
  • Type of steam obtained at this power: Normal (type T2)
  • Type of hit obtained at this power: Light
  • Atomizer used for the review: Flave 22 SS Alliancetech Vapor
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.8 Ω
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Nichrome, Holyfiber cotton

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

Blackberry Yogurt will not be suitable for all equipment given its PG / VG ratio of 30/70. The liquid is quite thick, so be careful with your resistors if they have very small openings.

I recommend the use on an atomizer focused on flavors, rather in MTL despite the high percentage of VG. The airflow will be adjusted according to what you are looking for. If you want diffused flavors and a lot of steam, you'll open it all the way. Conversely, if you want to favor the flavors, you will close it while lowering the power.

This liquid can be used all day, it is not very sweet, not disgusting.

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: Morning, All afternoon during everyone's activities
  • Can this juice be recommended as an All Day Vape: Yes

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.01 / 5 4 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

BlackBerry Yogurt from the Emma range is sorely lacking in aromatic power. The flavors are imprecise and way too light for my taste. While it is true that blackberry and yogurt are actually present, it lacks the minimum taste tone for me to want to come back to it. Too bad because the concept of low price / complex flavors / high VG rate was interesting. But we would have appreciated paying 10 cents more for a higher flavor percentage.
