Comments on the packaging
The Emile is making a good 11 knots this afternoon and the sea is good. The wind is cracking the sails, I will have to adjust all that. The boat is stalled on the port side and I decide to take a nap. A package of Master Bulot awaits me on my bunk from the departure. One word: “Tell me what you think…” At the bottom of the box, I find liquids… Alfaliquid! That sounds familiar. The Dark Story range is not new though, I was vaping this a few years ago. Alfaliquid would have liked to rework it? Let's try the Black Raft… The packaging has changed, I remember the time when I cursed because the packaging was limited to 10 or 20 ml max. Finally, they understood that it was too short!
Today the Black Raft is available in 10ml or 50ml is better! They even had the idea of offering three levels of nicotine for the 50ml. In its cardboard box, I find a dedicated nicotine booster which will allow me to vape in 3mg / ml. But Bulot told me that Alfaliquid could provide me with two booster if I wanted. The 10 ml vial can be 0, 3,6 or 11 mg / ml. Always mounted on a PG / VG ratio of 50/50, Black Raft is exchanged for € 24,9 for 50ml and € 5,9 for 10ml. The price has come down, it seems to me. It is an entry level liquid.

So how do you put it right without offending the bosses? I definitely preferred the old visual to the current one. Where do you see a boat in this visual? So, I know what the chef is going to tell me: “it's for the unity of the range!”. It is true that the whole Dark Story range looks like this, a night city dripping with electronic compounds on a different color depending on the flavor of the liquid. But what does this have to do with Black Raft? I preferred the rig in the storm. That's all.

Comments on the taste of the juice
Black Raft has a smell that smells like Martinique. The amber rum gives off its scent and invades my cabin. I also smell the sweet vanilla. I fill my atomizer and go! The power adjustment will have its importance in the tasting. Too heated, the rum gives off a little acidity which I don't like. So I stay below 20W.
At this power, the vanilla mixes well with the rum, the whole is very round. The caramel gives the mixture smoothness and softens the cocktail. Rum is the dominant note, however. The almond is not felt much. Maybe a little more at the end of the vape. The whole is harmonious, slightly sweet and very delicious. The throat hit is light and the vapor normal.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
A priori, everything is done so that this liquid is used with all equipment. But for me, it is not made for all atos. I would recommend a rather sharp atomizer in the flavors, mtl or restricted dl. Translation: for a rather tight to restricted open vape. A good, fairly thin Clearo will also do the trick. Taking into account the alcoholic flavor, rather adopt a range of resistances between 1 and 1.5 Ω with a setting around 15 / 20W. Beyond that, the rum will offer you a nice acidity that I did not appreciate ... The airflow will be adjusted to your liking.
Black Raft is excellent after a good meal with a coffee, or in the evening when the kids are asleep. In my cabin, it is not bad either listening to those damn sails flapping!

My mood ticket on this juice
Black Raft had its effect, I was able to finish my nap quietly. I will reserve this very greedy liquid for privileged moments, in the evening, when the winds arise. For now, I'm going to put my nose in the sun, set my sails and head for these enchanting islands!
In my thoughts I will keep the good dark rum and vanilla from Black Raft!
