A devilish concept!
What happens when a goldsmith of French taste looks into the case of puffs?
This is the question that Moonshiners asks us in this start of the 2022 school year with After Puff, a new concept which draws its source from a very clear observation.
The puffs have invaded the market and legions of new vape buyers go through this intermediary to get into the vape. Ecological mismanagement, problem of targeting the public and prohibitive cost price sometimes divert users who therefore return to their first reflex: cigarettes.
Instinctively, one would have thought that the lambda puffer would naturally move towards the second level: a pre-filled cartridge pod.
Alas, we realize that part of the population concerned return to cigarettes and others…continue at all costs with the puffs. Lack of information, apprehension of having to store technical data, psychological impact of anti-vaping campaigns? The reasons may escape geeks, but they are nonetheless real. It was therefore necessary to innovate by offering a lighter alternative to puffs in order to accompany the newcomer in his smoke towards an intermediate stage, playful, educational and very flexible.
What is a puff? And an After Puff?
It is a disposable electronic cigarette, simple, with a powerful, sweet and refreshing taste. Moonshiners stays in context by offering the aptly named After Puff, which is a disposable puff but can easily load and refill. The flavors chosen also correspond to the specifications. 4 different aromas, playful, sliced and very puff-like.
Obvious advantages.
First of all, we will throw the After Puff after having passed not 2 but good 20ml liquid approx. This gives us an ecological balance 10 times higher. In the meantime, the cartridge of the device will be easily filled using the e-liquid provided in the box. If you know how to fill a glass of soda, well, you can fill this cartridge. Ditto for electricity, all you have to do is plug in the USB-C cable from your phone to recover the energy needed to get your device back in shape. Again, if you know how to charge your smartphone, you should know how to charge your After Puff!
Then the cost price. A puff costs about 7.50 € on average and lasts, in the best case, a day. Your monthly budget will therefore be 225 €. You will get the After Puff kit, including the device and a bottle of liquid for 19.90 €. You will add a second bottle at 5.90 € to continue filling it. That's a total of 25.80 € to last 10 days. Which therefore amounts to 77.40 € per month. That is 147 € saved while making a gesture for our planet.
Finally, you will take advantage of the experience acquired to move on to other equipment, even less expensive, which will make you step into the shoes of a vaper.
The After puff itself therefore offers us an autonomy of 650 mAh, more than enough to last a day or more depending on your way of vaping. It is equipped with a mesh resistance to 1.4 Ω which will allow you to reach 10 W of power. Translated from the geek: you will be able to vape quietly, efficiently.
The airflow is very easily adjustable. All you have to do is turn the plastic ring at the bottom cap, just above the USB-C charging port. It's simple, intuitive, nothing to learn.
The first bottle of liquid is provided in the kit, of course. There are three nicotine levels: 10 mg/ml, 20 mg/ml and a 0 not necessarily essential at this stage. Inside, juices calibrated to match the tastes of puffers, between fresh fruity and candy. All in nicotine salts to avoid any inconvenience of excess hit and to be effective in the context of withdrawal.

And on the balance sheet?
Well, the results are very positive. We have very safe, effective and well-designed equipment to fulfill its function. We also have marked flavors, which will not disorient lovers of puffs and which presents a very satisfactory general level of quality.
It lacks a wider range of flavors to seduce all fans but it will not be long. A mint, for example, could be an asset. Some more greedy fruits too.
But as it stands, if we add the quality of the whole with the relevance of the concept, we get a nice surprise for the start of the 2022 school year, which can easily reconcile puffers and confirmed vapers.
