Comments on the packaging

The latest offspring of Laboravape's “Safe” range to pass the Vapelier tests, Absinthe Fruits Rouges doesn't really come through the front door. Indeed, we say petty “Hey, another Red Astaire clone”… Obviously, it's not very objective but we are human.

Besides, allow me to say here to all the liquid officers of France and Navarre that it is as tiring as possible to see you sweat blood and water to provide your carbon copy of the Red Astaire or that of the Heisenberg … First because you won't be able to do it and secondly because you are better than that. Innovate, invent… you are largely capable of it!

So, I take a little objectivity to test this product from the Provençal brand. Indeed, the Safe range has amazed me so far, so we are not immune to a surprise.

For the rest, it is identical to the whole range. 50/50 in 50ml for € 19.90. Freshness probably. As for the taste, we'll see.

As Doc Gyneco says: "Pass the second, we fall asleep!"

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

Another faultless of the brand. Everything is there, it's square. A visually impaired pictogram, not made mandatory by legislation, would undoubtedly be a welcome addition, considering that at this stage, the final juice can be boosted with nicotine.

But let us not be more royalist than the king, the manufacturer is here proving his total integrity in terms of safety and health. Evidence supported, Your Honor, by the abandonment of sucralose and the use of vegetable mono-propylene glycol instead of its petrochemical derivative.

As General Custer said so well: “I think it's won!”.

Comments on the packaging

Once again, the marketing has done very well with a bottle that makes you want to.

First of all, well done for the green color of the cap and the identical color of the plastic of the bottle. The eye's perception is flattered and our mind analyzes this greenness as a natural, or even organic, compound, so it's a good job from Laboravape.

In addition, the in-house designer is no penguin and serves us a very beautiful label, quite in tone, perfectly executed, while keeping the information clear and readable. It is not that often the case so it was worth saying.

As Dr. Lecter says, “let's have dinner!”

Comments on the taste of the juice

And hop, the a-priori take a big hit. Absinthe Fruits Rouges has nothing, really and totally nothing to do with Red Astaire!

Instead, we are entitled to a liquid that is greener than red, in every sense of the word. Indeed, the first puff reveals an aniseed and slightly bitter absinthe, as it should be, accompanied by a cloud of controlled freshness.

The red fruits are in ambush and do not really reveal themselves until after several puffs. I feel a red blackcurrant, a little sour, which is not to displease me and undoubtedly a blue fruit like blackberry or blueberry. Of course, I am convinced that the recipe is much more complex than that because, over time, rounder notes appear that are difficult to define.

The liquid is good, very slightly sweet and very refreshing. For some, however, it may appear a bit confusing. It is indeed difficult to extract the red fruits from the absinthe even if the result is very correct and reveals a natural bias that does not ignore bitterness or acidity, which is interesting and rare. .

As Oppenheimer said: “it really fizzes in the mouth!”

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 30 W
  • Type of steam obtained at this power: Dense
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Medium
  • Atomizer used for the review: Psyclone Hadaly
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.50
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Kanthal, Cotton

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

To vape in a precise atomizer if you want to enjoy the slightest aromatic note. I recommend it instead on a tight and not too powerful vape in order to define the juice well even if its aromatic power does not limit it only to that.

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: All afternoon during everyone's activities
  • Can this juice be recommended as an Allday Vape: No

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.38 / 5 4.4 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

Absinthe Fruits Rouge is hard to fault. It ticks all the right boxes when it comes to wholesomeness and its aroma surprisingly differentiates it from the rest of the production.

A good taste, a very summery freshness, acidity and the presence of the green fairy, even if it undoubtedly makes it a little too much, assure us an original liquid and pleasant to vape.

In short, as Beethoven said: “A great ending for an excellent range!”
