A&B, you know what it is you?
No, it's not the title of a Jackson 5 song. More prosaically, it's a liquid that we owe to Jus du Chat Perché, a young company that creates potions out of passion and their fourth album is currently released. What to rejoice since the first three had seduced us at the Vapelier. It is unfortunately increasingly rare for new brands to embark on the adventure, especially to offer juices that break the taste gangue that the vape has imposed on itself for two or three years.
So, we are happy not to come across yet another fresh red fruit and we thank these "little" actors who, we hope, will become big ones to come and shake up the established order a little and above all to offer new visions of taste. by vaping.
In short, A&B, késako? Well, under this barbaric acronym hide Alice and Bastet. For Alice, unless you've never been a child in your life (which wouldn't surprise me with some of you. Yes, you there! 😝), you'll have no trouble recognizing the tourist of Wonderland, made so popular by Disney.
Well, the Perched Cat tells us that she slips into a rabbit hole, so far we are good, that she arrives in Wonderland, it still holds and that she meets Bastet, an Egyptian deity with the head of a cat , protector of the houses! 😲 Well, then, good old Lewis (Carroll not Hamilton!) must be turning in his grave!

If I remember correctly, there is a cat in Alice in Wonderland, the Cheshire Cat. But he is neither Egyptian nor divine! Good, well, the manufacturer takes liberties with “reality”, after all he has the right! In the same state of mind, for his next liquid, I can advise him “Cruella & Jupiter” (any resemblance to existing characters would be purely coincidental of course 🙄).
A&B comes to us in a bottle of 60 ml capacity and 50 ml content. I who did Math Sup (there was an internship in prison), I can tell you that this leaves 10 ml available to insert as much neutral base or 1 booster. Enough to go from 0 to 3 mg/ml of nicotine on board! Cool, right?
The base is 30/70 PG/VG, and all of vegetable origin, please! Enough to augur beautiful, fragrant and healthy clouds in the blue sky of Wonderland!

Everything is clear, only one slight complaint: it lacks a telephone number to contact any customer service in the event of a problem. It is certainly not mandatory but be careful all the same, the Queen of Hearts is watching you.
As Lewis's wife (Carroll not Lennox!) used to say to her husband: “I laughed Lewis”. (Editor's note: we absolutely dissociate ourselves from these pitiful traits of humor)

As many things are happening around the bottle, it's rather quiet on the label. Apart from the very beautiful brand logo, there is nothing to see. It's clean as a brand new apartment, just the name of the juice and the informative mentions on a light orange background.
The obvious fantasy of the manufacturer would undoubtedly have deserved a more appropriate case. But hey, we're not vaping the label so we're not going to make a five-act drama out of it!

Comments on the taste of the juice
Well, what does it taste like, a baroque fairy tale! Well, it's good, it's even very good!
First of all, it is a gourmet fruitiness worked in tart mode. We therefore find a biscuit and vanilla base that supports the whole assembly. It's fine, subtle but it has a great influence on the success of the whole.
Next, we have a jam-style fruit cocktail where a well-worked, lightly roasted yellow peach stands out. A citrus fruit that I identify as a clementine or a tangerine brings a hint of welcome acidity which completes the fruity whole wonderfully. We even sometimes think we recognize notes of apricot but I think it's an illusion from the citrus-peach mix.
At the very end, there is a sweet and comforting twist in which I think I recognize the promised white chocolate.
Here is what a recipe looks like in a state of grace, all at the same time greedy, sweet but without excess, fruity, tangy without any of the protagonists taking the undeniable leadership. A gourmet success that is reminiscent, in spirit not in taste, of the Wonderful Tart and other Big Apples.

We are not going to quibble, as Lewis would say (Carroll not Jerry Lee!). A&B is an excellent opus to put to the credit of Jus du Chat Perché (I doubt that only the cat is perched in this story!). Gourmet as you wish, it keeps its point perfectly and invites us to a variation of fishing in pastry which is totally convincing and even makes you want to cook to reproduce it!
Top Vapelier and, to reward you for having undergone all my digressions in this review, I present to you Alice Lidell, the real little Alice from whom Lewis Carroll was inspired to write his book.
