Innokin continues its efforts to return to center stage. To do this, it is once again with the help of Phil Busardo and Dimitri Agrafiotis that they intend to hit the nail on the head.
After the Arès, an MTL RTA, it's the Zenith, a clearomizer intended for indirect vaping which promises us a return to basics.
In the heat of the big cloud, Innokin and the two sacred monsters of the vape co-design and development of this 24 mm clearomizer, equipped with a vertical resistance kanthal / cotton, and having a reservoir of 4 ml .
The promise for less than 30 euros: find a reasonable but tasty vape with a well-designed, reliable and easy-going material.
Let's see if, as for the Ares, the bet is well held.

The Zenith is presented as a fairly massive clearomiser with its 24.7mm diameter. Made of 316 stainless steel and pyrex, our atomizer will seek its visual inspiration in the world of aeronautical mechanics. The top of the top-cap adopts the design of a sort of three-blade propeller. It extends into a tube over about 4mm to accommodate the delrin drip-tip. We find on the outer edge of the inscriptions, the name of the atomizer, as well as the words “close” and “open”, both accompanied by a directional arrow.
The top-cap is integral with the tank and the chimney. The pyrex tank is set in this set, it is visible through two large trapezoidal skylights. This configuration seems to offer good protection to our tank, which is a good thing since it is not replaceable.
The bottom-cap, it accommodates the airflow ring engraved with the name Innokin. In opposition to this rather deep engraving, there is the cyclops opening which reveals a series of five small holes of 1 mm maximum diameter each, it is rotatable and therefore allows to vary the number of active holes.
When we unscrew the bottom-cap, we access the resistance which is not screwed on but simply fitted and held in place by an O-ring, the bottom-cap coming to lock everything.
From a physical point of view, our clearomizer is pretty good. If we add to that an irreproachable realization, materials of good quality and a fairly accessible price, the case seems to be looking good.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
Our two vaping Popes have of course thought of equipping the Zenith with everything it takes.
To begin with, we find the filling from the top, which is carried out by a simple rotation of the top-cap. In addition to opening access to the filling, this operation will at the same time block the juice inlets from the resistance in order to avoid any risk of clogging.
The reservoir is rather large for an MTL type atomizer with 4ml. Then, there is a precise adjustable airflow, which allows to vary the opening from 1 to 5 mm, which seems rather consistent with a vape in indirect inhalation.
Two types of resistors are available, one with a value of 1.6Ω (10 to 14W) for a cold to warm vape and one to 0.8Ω (15 to 18W) for a hotter vape.
The stud is not adjustable since it is integrated into the resistance, the resistance is therefore in direct contact with the box pin.
In short, our Zenith seems indeed well armed to fulfill the missions that are entrusted to him: to make simple, effective, and tasty.

It is not one, but two delrin drip-tips that you will find in the pack. The first is a very simple straight tip. The second adopts a curved shape. Both are perfectly suited to the vape and the design of the atomizer.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
We keep the code established for this new series which was inaugurated with the Ares. A very sober white box. On top of the box, a photo of the Zenith. On two small opposite sides, we find the signatures of Phil and Dimitri and the name of the Platform series.
On the back, the legal notices and the authenticity verification code.
Inside, our atomizer is set on a thin plastic support, white. Below is the second resistance and the second drip-tip and two pairs of joints.
There is a little notice, it is not translated but the illustrations are very explicit.
Proper packaging considering the price range.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
It's a hit with this item, our two colleagues have been able to guide Innokin on the path of simplicity and efficiency.
The filling is very simple. We follow the indications on the top-cap: open (open), close (closed). The opening offered is of a quite satisfactory size, it will be compatible with the majority of bottle tips. To improve this system, our friends had the idea of coupling this opening with the closing of the resistance's juice arrivals, which is very effective in preventing congestion.
Note that, to prime the resistors, you are told on the instructions that it is sufficient to put five drops of liquid directly into the resistance.
Changing the resistance is also very easy and does not require emptying the tank. We unscrew the bottom-cap, we pull on the resistance and we replace the news that we have previously initiated.
The airflow adjustment is very usual, we turn the ring and we choose to open between 1 to 5 holes of 1 mm.
No leak, good flavor and resistances to less than 2 € that hold well, it has everything to become a must have!

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Another great achievement for Innokin and its star partners. The Zenith is positioned as a potential essential reference of the Old school vape. Indeed, there are almost no faults on this new clearomizer: practical top filling, simple installation and replacement of coils, precise airflow, effective coils and, finally, a 4ml tank which offers a good autonomy. given the type of vape for which it is intended.
All the ingredients are there to allow a primo-vapoteur to start well in the vape without breaking the bank and complicating life.
Add to that a good restitution of flavors and, finally, this simple clearomizer can even please more informed vapers, fans of indirect vape, who do not want to complicate their lives to make their coils, especially as the atomizers dedicated to this vape are rare.
For less than thirty euros, the case is more than honest and, for me, this Zenith should, if all goes well, be placed in the firmament of the market in the months to come.
