Desire provokes us with its new X, a box with a suggestive name and an equally evocative form. Beautiful, powerful, massive, it comes in three different colors: white, bronze or steel.
It is noticeable with an imposing size and a weight of almost 300g without battery, as well as there is something to strengthen the arm. Also, the power of the X goes with its build since it offers us a working range between 5 and 200W.
It ships with it two batteries (not supplied) in 18650 format, it is therefore imperative that their discharge current is greater than or equal to 25A. It offers classic vape modes in power or temperature control with the TCR that will allow you to choose and adjust your vape by selecting one of three factory preset temperature coefficients (M1, M2, M3) for your resistive. The X accepts starting resistances from 0.08Ω up to 3Ω as well as a temperature range that oscillates between 100 and 300 ° C.

Although X is massive, it looks good. Its X-shape allows a comfortable grip, provided you have a large hand. But it is the weight that raises concern because with its 389g, not sure that many accept this "torture" of vape.
However, I must admit that the matte white coating on this zinc alloy body is beautiful. It does not mark fingerprints and stays clean but until when? Because if the traces of drips are barely visible, the installation of the atomizer on the top-cap immediately scratches it. Too bad there is no platinum to remedy this inconvenience. All atomizers will rub the top since the spring-loaded pin allows flush assembly.
The two sides of the box are different, one acts as a hatch for the insertion of the batteries. It has three magnets big enough for a good maintain. The top is dug in the shape of X in a large size and below, in the same way but in a smaller format and capital letter, the name of the manufacturer DESIRE.
The other side is curved, hence the 28mm width. In its center, we see a window in two parts that forms a triangle. This triangle is illuminated by a bluish light that blinks gently when the box is lit. I would have thought it energy-consuming, but no, not more than that.
On the front, the look makes me think of Gameboy with its black buttons in a similar format. The switch is at the top of the X and its size is fine. Below, the screen is not huge but the information is in a well proportioned format and very bright, which makes the visibility clearer and easier. The knobs are in line with the switch and slice for the size that remains correct. Finally, we have the opening for the connection to the micro-USB cable.
Overall, the box corresponds to his name, she is sensual, strong and robust. It seduces women but it is the men who will enjoy it to be desired.

The functionalities of X are to offer a beautiful geometric aesthetic as well as a powerful proprietary chipset.
The modes of vape : They are standard, with a power mode from 5 to 200W that is used in kanthal and a temperature control mode from 100 to 300 ° C (or 200 to 600 ° F) with resistive nickel, stainless steel or titanium. For the TCR, it will be useless to include the coefficient of the resistive used because three coefficients are already stored in memory. The threshold resistance will be 0.08Ω. Finally, we have the PGM mode that adjusts to your vape depending on how long your breath lasts.
Screen display : He gives the information in four parts. On the top, we have the mode you are on and the symbol of the battery charge. Below is the display of the power (or temperature) set. Then we find the tension that applies depending on the choice of the power and finally on the fourth part, we have the counter of vape which counts the time of support (in seconds) with the value of your resistance.

The insertion of the batteries is very easy with this magnetic cap but it is especially the grip on the bottom that is practical. Finally a mod that does not require that we have nails to open this trap. In addition, the hood is really good and will not fall.
The X with its proprietary chipset works perfectly well. She is very responsive in providing maximum power of 200W without flinching and without heating. Its use is simple and does not offer a menu. Therefore, it is the key coding that imposes the different settings.

Desire has played the card of masculine sensuality with this X, it offers everything a vaper can expect, both in power and in the accuracy of the rendering.
Its aesthetic advantages are the uniform colors chosen and its ergonomic shape. Only, its weight is rather disabling. In use, it is rather simple but becomes more complex as soon as one must adjust settings on the PGM because it requires to know by hand the manipulations to be performed without entering a prior menu that is non-existent.
