With a few years of experience in the manufacture of atomizers and mods with some great successes, Youde offers us here an extremely versatile mechanical mod.
Indeed, the Oak Leaf is not only a mecha mod that accepts any type of atomizer equipped with an 510 connection but it is in addition, and for the same price, a hybrid mod equipped natively with a double dripper. coil of good capacity thanks to its two deep tanks.
In addition to a price positioning quite unique for its features, it deserved more than a simple glance!

A mod of good quality for a price content. We note the presence of silver-plated contacts, little stingy material, for better conductivity. The brushed finish, mixing brass for the body and 304 steel for the caps, is so seyante and does not hold fingerprints.
The switch, located at the bottom of the mod is rather of the rather hard type, which can be an advantage for some and a disadvantage for others depending on our vaping habits. However, you should know that, like all spring-loaded switches, it will tend to soften after a while.
The mod can be placed upright without any risk of triggering, whatever the weight of the ato connected. The switch has been designed for this use with its slightly concave and re-entrant shape which prevents any incident. A locking ring is present, easy to implement and will ensure optimal maintenance of the switch during transport.
The construction is good, especially considering the price. The materials are thick, the threads are very correct and the operation of the limpid with regard to possible adjustments.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
This is a mecha mod so it will not tell the time or toast your toast. But as a mech, he defends himself very well. The conductivity is good. With the use of the top cap 510, we observe a drop-volt of about 0.15. But the conductivity becomes impressive when you use this mod for what it is initially, a hybrid mod. In this case, the loss is minimal and the mod becomes a factory in volts. The tests made with the supplied dripper and a good battery leaves no room for doubt.
It is important to repeat that the Oak Leaf therefore includes a dripper atomizer. This atomizer takes advantage of the manufacturer's extensive experience in this field and is really very convincing. Equipped with two very deep tanks, it will accept a single or double coil, at your choice. With a simple coil and an adequate airflow adjustment, it will carry the flavors and aromas well thanks to its evaporation chamber whose height has been calculated to reduce the volume and therefore optimize the flavors. In double coil with the two airflow slots open to the maximum, the atomizer delivers an extremely abundant vapor, it is a fact but above all of a great density and which does not sacrifice to the precision of the flavors. Again, the reduction in the room seems to have paid off.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
The packaging has no defects and no lack. A hard cardboard box sealed in a protective plastic ensures with great firmness the protection of the various parts during transport. There is a user manual, in English but easy to understand because it has explicit diagrams. The packaging therefore does not lend itself to criticism, especially since the price positioning of the mod could have raised concerns about more cheap packaging.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
No complaints. The mod behaves perfectly well. No unwanted voltage drops that could indicate fluctuating conductivity, no sneaky triggering in the pocket, the locking ring proves effective. This mod can be used in 18350 or 18650. Its weight is in the normal and does not represent a disadvantage for the transport nor a discomfort.
I suggest lightly greasing the threads of the tubes which, although very correctly made, have a tendency to squeak a little. Again, this slight defect will disappear with time and use.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Let us immediately set the record straight.
1. This mod is thought to be a hybrid and take advantage of his dripper to give everything he has in his stomach. And he does.
2. This mod is an original. To obtain the same configuration with other “high-end” brands, the entry ticket would be well above 150 €.
3. The price of this mod is 59.90 €.
If we have understood these three essential parameters, we can, with full knowledge of the facts, trust this mod. Of course, we have known switch more flexible. Of course, we have seen more luxurious finishes. Of course, it won't make geeks swoon in a vaporizer (at least until they test it). On the other hand, for vapers who are looking for a mod + dripper combo to have fun and who do not have the means to invest in a “hype” set-up, it will be a perfect, faithful, pleasant and very efficient companion.
This brings me to the next thought. Between the beginner material (against which I have no preconceptions) and the High-end material (against which I do not have any either), there is a wasteland for mid-range material which will be able to satisfy a maximum of vapers and allow the confirmed to pass the course of a more tasty material. I wonder then where are the Europeans in this market to take? With the exception of Exvape and a few rare others, it seems that European manufacturers have decided to leave this huge market to Chinese manufacturers. Good for the consumer who can finally vape on the original at low cost. Too bad for the others who, in search of recognition from specialists and reviewers, simply forgot that the mid-range was an extremely buoyant market.
Counterfeits will disappear the day the mid-range is filled. And, for the moment, it seems mainly provided by China….
