Limelight is a Serbian moderator. One of his most famous creations is the Pylon, this electronic box made of steel and wood, equipped with the choice of Evolv or Yihi chipsets. But today, we are going to talk about its atomizer: the Tube.
The Tube is a small flavor-oriented tank atomizer that is close to the taste sensations of a dripper. Its price places it in the high-end category. Machined in small series, its price does not make it the most accessible. Can an atomizer that goes against the current “cloudesque” trends find its place in the current market?

The Tube is a very compact atomizer with its 33mm high and 22mm in diameter. Of course, this reduces its capacity accordingly (2ml). This capacity can be increased by purchasing a kit with a pmma tube and a longer chimney, available on the manufacturer's website.
Its design is simple and clean, nothing exceptional but everything is harmonious. The atomizer is completely dismantled and the threads are of very good quality. The O-rings, too, are very well made. The steel used is well machined and seems sturdy and it comes in two different surface treatments, which brings some relief to the overall design.
The tray is very simple and lends itself to simple coil assemblies. The screws present to fix your resistive have a large diameter, which makes assembly very comfortable, even with a cable of large section. On the base of the plate, on either side of the studs, small holes are provided to supply your wick with liquid.
The chamber and the chimney are a good size, you will have no trouble seeing your coil by removing the drip-tip.
The base is engraved with the brand name and bears a serial number, which reinforces the premium look of the product. The 510 pin is well machined.
The base is equipped with a ring to adjust the airflow. It has three holes, two can be put into service at the same time, the third works solo to reduce the air flow.
Two tanks are provided in the pack, a stainless steel and a PMMA, this of course allows to consider all the juices, even the most corrosive.
A pretty atomizer, well made and visibly well thought out. There remains the price which, at this level of my discovery, does not seem to me to be totally justified since the atomizer seems very simple and does not present any major innovations.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
This tube shines by its simplicity of assembly, a simple coil whose resistance should not be too low. As I said above, the large head screws offer a good holding capacity, even with the large section. The coil can adopt a large diameter, there is no lack of space.
The filling is carried out from the top. The top-cap is unscrewed, the chimney / bell is fully screwed in, which at the same time serves as a regulator of the flow of juice, to block the arrival of the liquid. By the way, this system is more an all or nothing than something else in view of its design. Then we just pour 2 ml and not 2,1 ml because otherwise it overflows when the top-cap is put in place. Finally, we unscrew the chimney to allow the juice to circulate to the cotton, in my case of Fiber Freaks density 2.
Then, you will adjust your air flow, the ring is neither too flexible nor too hard, the O-ring which ensures its maintenance is just impeccable. We can finally say that indeed this atomizer seems to be able to behave like a “flavor” dripper, with a modest air flow and a noisy hair.

No comment because there is none. I find it a bit mean considering the price. Choose a drip-tip with a large internal diameter and withstanding heat well because the Tube gives in the vape lukewarm to hot.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
A pretty little wooden box with a sliding lid, it's too “cute” as my dear wife says. Inside, we find the Tube, a PMMA tank, screws and gaskets. Everything is secured by a simple piece of folded cardboard, for the class you will iron. But the most regrettable is once again the absence of instructions. Okay, it's high-end probably intended for vaping geeks, but I find it abnormal not to provide a booklet that gives you the designer's recommendations for getting the most out of the product.

In use, the Tube is in a good average. Compact so easily transportable, plan to fill it often and even if this exercise is easy, I prefer to do it sitting at a table, because one drop too much and it overflows. No leaks to deplore in use.
The Tube offers a tasty vape at will and it will delight lovers of flavors. On the other hand, do not hope to win a cloud-contest with it, because the content airflow will not allow you to achieve exploits.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
I know an old school vapoteur, with a white beard, with a benevolent pirate look, who likes to vape a good, complex and delicious tobacco, at the right temperature. A vapoteur who still vapes in 12mg, who likes the hit, a tough one… But a tough one with good manners, full of wisdom and knowledge. A tough as gourmet as he is greedy, who refuses to sacrifice this vape out of step with the power-vaping standards that takes us all away.
This tube is exactly an atomizer made for him, robust, simple in design, with a clean industrial style and I'm sure that the one who corrects my copy tonight is not the only one who loves this type of vape. So yes, it's expensive, yes it's simple, well designed but not really innovative. The “innovations” here are only made up of a mixture of proven ideas, gleaned from the right and the left. But despite everything, there is a sign of great intelligence in having put together simple and effective solutions. So, if your wallet allows it and you want an atomizer that is a bit old school but with a certain character, this Tube is for you.
