Initially Allday is a shop specializing in the sale of e-liquids. But quickly, it turned into a full-fledged manufacturer with a great range of juices that quickly found its aficionados. The Egyptian Gods range that we will be studying this summer is the brand's latest addition and is based on 100% VG liquids packaged differently and addressing the Premium segment with a low price. The products are thought out and designed by Allday and manufactured by an American laboratory.

Thot is the god of the moon in Egyptian mythology, the lord of time who manages the lunar cycles.

Lunar, the Thoth is not that much since the packaging responds perfectly to the heavy specifications that we have set at the Vapelier. The consumption information is all present: PG / VG ratio, nicotine level (don't laugh, I've seen liquids that didn't indicate it!) And the choice of a typical glass bottle really reinforces the seduction of the product.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

Allday has fully understood that the next stage of vaping in our country is total transparency in terms of security which is the only guarantee not to see too heavy a repression befall both producers and vapers when the TPD will be applied. Thus, this small bottle contains all the essential data to ensure safe consumption.

A batch number is missing but the manufacturer's contact displayed as well as a DLUO should help you find your way around in the event of a batch problem. I just noticed a funny little typo on the label, something that has no bearing on the quality of the product on this chapter but which made me laugh and which I therefore share with you, hoping that Allday does not 'will not want it and especially that they will correct it.

It is in fact stated that the product is “toxic in the event of indigestion”. I think that at the start, the designer wanted to specify “toxic in the event of ingestion”, which is not the same thing because personally, in the event of indigestion, I will not add more while drinking the vial… Lol ...

Finally, nothing very bad, “errare humanum est” as they say in Asterix and this in no way diminishes the excellent rating obtained by the Thoth on security.

Comments on the packaging

The 10ml packaging is really cute. Allday has played the card of a beautiful red glass bottle whose shape, reminiscent of certain Egyptian amphorae, is very much in the concept of the range. The label drives the point home by presenting the ibis-headed god in a hieroglyphic cartouche. I note that this label is not quite correctly adjusted on the bottle, this being due to its trapezoidal shape which should not help to position it. But who cares? The essentials are already there, with a princely presentation for a price of 6.95 € where other brands favor plastic for packaging in 10ml. Well done, well done and well done!

Comments on the taste of the juice

Le Thot is part of the big category of gourmet tobaccos.

There is indeed a slightly aggressive blond tobacco base (Virginia?) On which is grafted a strong note of roasted coffee. The whole is subtly vanilla in the aftertaste and very slightly caramelized on the first breath. Be careful, this is not here, despite the level of vegetable glycerin and the greedy aspect of the recipe for a fatty and sweet juice. On the contrary, here we are dealing with a nervous e-liquid, tonic and very full in taste.

Not very sweet, Thoth does not ignore a certain bitterness due to coffee, but that does not bother me personally because it makes Thoth easy to vape for long periods. We see that this e-liquid was thought to be an allday and I am sure that it will find many followers who prefer liquids with character to yet another Red Astaire clone. And this is what makes its greatest strength. Even if, subjectively, I would have preferred to feel a little more vanilla and caramel to soften everything a little, I recognize that Thoth is a very particular liquid that deserves its place in current vapology, if only by its particularism which makes it unique. A real good original juice, therefore rare.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

To make the most of the flavors of Thoth, I recommend a reconstructable atomizer and a lukewarm / hot temperature, more conducive to making it return all its aromas. Between 12 and 22W, I did not feel a big difference in terms of balance, so I deduce that the juice supports well to move in power.

My mood ticket on this juice

The challenge of the bet taken by Allday with the Thot was to obtain very strong flavors using a base in 100% VG. The challenge is totally successful because I had to read the label several times to be sure of this figure. Even though propylene glycol is mentioned as a constituent, I assumed that it was only there for the dilution of the flavors and that the base used was made up of vegetable glycerin.

Thoth is a successful and distinctive juice. It will not be unanimous (but who makes it?) Because its taste is wild, powerful and persistent in the mouth. It is not very sweet and has a good bitterness, based on the combination of tobacco + roasted coffee beans. If I regret the relative lightness of the vanilla or the caramel which could have softened its character a little, I understand the process well and I find the recipe relentless and serious. We therefore have an e-liquid very full of flavor, strong in hit and which generates a beautiful vapor. What more?

Vaporized on an Origen in 22W, the sensations are very present and the Thot goes elegantly with a strong and sweet espresso whose power it increases tenfold. This primer of the Egyptian gods series irresistibly makes me want to get to know the rest of the range and moreover, I return the antenna and I open a second bottle ...
