When we decided to do this summer special around French Vapology, it quickly appeared to us that we also had to make room for alchemist craftsmen among the biggest brands to clearly specify that, in the field of e-liquid , there were also exceptional talents outside the industry. And after all, why not since there are very talented moderating craftsmen in France, we rightly thought that vaping craftsmen should also exist and be represented.
Thus, The Wood Tiger comes to us from The Way of the Samovar, a small structure directed by Captain Smoke who at the same time officiates within Phi mods for an exceptional “hardware”, made with high quality materials that we hope soon to be tested at the Vapelier.
The packaging of the Wood Tiger is already a dream when you open the vapmail and I will talk about it later but it is also quite worthy of what we can expect from the best in terms of consumer information. Perfection is, they say, not of this world. So we will be satisfied with this 5/5 that the Wood Tiger brilliantly obtains in the field of security and legal compliance. Indeed, everything is there and even more since the juice warns us of a DLUO, always appreciable to be sure to vape your e-liquid in the best conditions.
The bottle comes standard with a screwed plastic cap covered with wax, which gives the bottle a very sensual and elegant cachet. It should be noted that unlike liquids like Witcher's Brew, the wax is very easy to remove and since there is no cork stopper, the opening is quickly cleared. All that remains is to insert the glass pipette provided and with child safety to close the bottle. At this level, it's great art! Both visually and in terms of safety.

Of course, the appreciation of packaging is intimately linked to personal sensitivity and what I like will not necessarily please you. That said, it is always pleasant to come across atypical packaging that highlights a product or a concept.
That of the Wood Tiger has been mastered from start to finish! The presence of wax poured on the stopper, the rustic burlap sleeve, the ampoule shape of the amber glass bottle, the twine around the neck that keeps the double label in the shape of a tree, the very early typeface of the twentieth century, all this smacks of the industrial revolution as a historical thread ... so many carefully weighed details that count on the final perception and present us an exceptional product, which we are happy to take in hand, to contemplate for the simple pleasure of our visual sense. We feel that this packaging was designed by an artist and not by a marketing developer. La Voie Du Samovar is the icing on a magnificent cake.
On this subject, I would like to add that I love the name of the company, inspired by Samovars, Russian teapots. Which puts us a little on the way before tackling the taste aspect.

Comments on the taste of the juice
On inspiration, we find a light blond tobacco, devoid of aggressiveness and which seems subtly honeyed. On this tobacco, we find the bitterness of a black tea softened by the presence of an Earl Gray of great strain, with this taste so typical of bergamot. But a soft and subtle bergamot which does not in any way interfere with the presence of other elements. On the exhale, we find woody and slightly spicy aromas (cardamom? I admit that I have dried…) which blend with infinite subtlety in this intense, full-bodied and atypical blend.
The whole is, let's face it straight off, perfectly put in recipe and balanced. It would be a shame to relegate this nectar to the rank of simple gourmet tobacco because it is a bit of everything at the same time and achieves the feat of being exceptional in all areas of the taste game. Extremely complex, it took me the 30ml to identify it as well as possible, yet it knows how to be adopted in the first puffs. We know, we feel, we have a feeling that we are facing an exceptional liquid, one of those which make the vaping gradually acquire its letters of nobility.
For me, the Wood Tiger ranks in the three best e-liquids in the world (the ones I was able to test, of course), nothing less. So I give it a Top Juice because it represents the best of what Global Vapor has to offer. Better than an excellent surprise, a revelation.

To taste with an average resistance (1 / 1.5Ω) on a reconstructable of good quality typed flavor. He will also be at his ease and at his best on a flavor-type dripper around 0.8Ω. I found it perfect at 18W on the equipment I used. This medium term allows you to appreciate and understand all the nuances of the juice and there are some!

My mood ticket on this juice
Gorgeous.
A very high-end e-liquid, of rare elegance, precious in its presentation and precious in its taste. A real little miracle of steam that takes us on a journey over lands from our own culture. We hover here over the verdant plains of the County or the oceans of Neverland. You will undoubtedly glide elsewhere but always with the same feeling of weightlessness.
There is nothing wrong with this Wood Tiger, born under the best of Chinese signs. Not even its price, which, if it is high, is fully justified by the care taken in all the presentation elements, the quality of the aromas and the rarity of the recipe. I generally tick off the prices of Premiums and, like many, I sometimes have trouble explaining it. On this one, I am silent. Because nothing that I have tasted in this segment can compare to it. And the vaping art in this little vial is simply priceless. Because it is the result of a man's passion, months and months of preparation, with limited resources, to achieve a real diamond of the most beautiful water.
I will buy it and steam it for special occasions, such as opening a good Cognac with friends or grilling a lobster. You will vape it when you want it, do not miss this great vintage, but please, leave me some !!!!
