This atomizer is a marvel, a real crush! Few threads, gold-plated connector and pin, adjustable pin, nice flavors but… it may not be suitable for everyone.
The Hurricane is the judicious marriage between the Kayfun and the Taifun. However, I find it expensive even if this price is certainly due to the quality of the machining and certain materials with the key to perfect conductivity.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
The stainless steel has a superb look, smooth, fine, an irreproachable machining and sublime engravings. It is Swiss quality and precision! Only downside: the PMMA tank that I would have liked in Makrolon on this product because it is a material which is very similar to pyrex and which gives a more solid appearance. Such a material would have royally finished this atomizer.
The gold plated connectors are well insulated and provide excellent conductivity with the pin also gold plated. This pin can be adjusted by screwing or unscrewing it and the addition of the spring around its axis provides increased flexibility during adjustment.
Although the announced capacity is 3.5ml, I am happy to have been able to put without difficulty, just a little more than 4ml, a pleasant surprise therefore. It is a beautiful object of very high quality with a downside for the Tank, even if it remains quite correct.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
The pin adjustable by screwing is comfortable thanks to the presence of a spring. The gold material brings an undeniable advantage to the current conductivity and therefore generates less power loss. This is not surprising when we know that gold is an excellent thermal and electrical conductor (just after silver and copper) and its stainless nature in ambient conditions means that it is used to ensure good contacts in time unlike copper which oxidizes quite quickly and loses its conductivity over time if the contacts are not maintained.
The adjustable air flow, with 15 possible combinations by 1 or 2 ramps of five different diameter holes, ensures a setting perfectly suited to the vaper with this panel of choice of draw.
The screws of the studs are very large and practical suitable for a flat screwdriver (I want to say: "finally" !!!), they allow to use a fairly large kanthal without any problem to fix it (I tested up to 0.5mm in the photos with the “cotton nest” wick).
The tray is rather comfortable and wide enough to work on editing.
Regarding the capillary, there are several ways to install it, but beware, if it is misplaced or if there is not enough material, the risk of gurgles will be inevitable.
It is therefore at the level of the plateau that the comparison with Taifun is the most obvious. For those who are fans of this atomizer, no hesitation, The Hurricane will be "A Must", that's obvious.

A solid drip-tip in the shape of a "top hat" that ends well with the atomizer on a flat top cap.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
Haaaaaa !!! Here was my cry of anger for a conditioning too often neglected. Although with this atomizer, we still have the box.
No instructions, no additional screws in case of loss, no seals. If one of them gets cut by pinching… ..nothing! Yes sorry, we have a small card which is not used much except to find the site of the manufacturer. It's nice but at more than 170 euros the atomizer, I hoped to have at least the same as on low-end atomizers. NO ???
Of course, we will be told that this increases costs ... but who are we kidding when we know that even the stainless steel tank exists and is not in the box. Again, it is sold separately. There is no small profit ...
In short it is becoming more and more common and I'm still not getting used to it !!!
Appreciations in use

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
The plate is very wide to work easily on the assembly, the screws make it easy to use a wire of diameter 0.5mm and even 0.6mm without difficulty.
The two-part bell is convenient for repositioning your cotton once the ring is placed or if necessary to adjust.
The 4mm diameter chimney is wide enough for direct inhalation and to properly restore all flavors.
Although the number of combinations corresponding to the airflow is significant (15 using the 2 + 5 ramps with a single ramp), I still regret that it is not more air. Because even if the atomizer supports very low resistance values, this lack of openness makes the vape a little too hot in subohm.
The quality of the vape is surprising because depending on the position of the wick, the rendering is quite typical of Kayfun: fluid, not very concentrated, moderately greedy in liquid, rather dense vapor ...
With another position, we are more on the rendering of Taifun: well concentrated, greedy in juice (in subohm) and medium vapor ...
I tested this atomizer using two different positions for the fiber:
The first by inserting the cotton in the notches so as to obtain a more airy vape with slightly more diffuse flavors. Personally, I prefer but we have less deep tastes with a thicker vapor density.
However, be careful not to over tighten the cotton by screwing the top of the bell, not to risk the dry hit. So a diameter 2mm resistance is preferable.
The second in "cotton nest" consists in having a good quantity of material so that, once soaked, your wick is placed in front of the notches. Thus, the cotton is filled with liquid without flooding the assembly, with each suction. The taste is more concentrated and the vapor is quite dense but less than the first cut.
Be careful to put enough material to avoid clogging. For this assembly, it is better to make a resistance in subohm with a diameter of 2.5 even 3mm.
For filling, the operation is quite simple and does not require emptying the tank. The good news for me is to have managed to pay just over 4ml while the manufacturer announces a capacity of 3.5ml.
Kanthal diameter 0.5mm, six turns on a support of 0.3mm for a value of 0.5 ohm

The mood ticket of the reviewer
It is a very good atomizer which knows how to adapt to the demand of the vapoteur provided that each one masters his tastes well.
The must of "The Hurricane" is undoubtedly the studs and the gold-plated pin that will ensure excellent conductivity lasting over time. So you will not need to scratch all your contacts.
Impossible not to make the link with Taifun which certainly inspired the designer of this atomizer. The followers of the latter will adore it and in addition the diameter of this Hurricane is 22mm to adapt more easily to more mechanical mods.
It is really a very beautiful atomizer which unfortunately is a bit expensive, but I remain convinced that for the price of "a month of tobacco", it is still a great deal!
