Alliancetech Vapor is a French company born from the association of people from the world of vaping, IT and aeronautical engineering. The brand made a remarkable arrival about a year ago thanks to the release of The Flave dripper, a flavor-oriented mono coil atomizer.
Since then, the Flave family has grown, there are 22 and 24mm versions available in classic dripper or RDTA.
The new kid was released on February 18th and, as the name clearly suggests, this is a tank version with a diameter of 22mm.
An atomizer made in France, in beautiful materials and found at the price of 105 €.
We are dealing with a high end atomizer and, even if the price seems undoubtedly indecent to some, it remains correctly placed compared to the products usually offered in this category.
As incredible as it sounds, this is my first physical encounter with a “Flave”, so I can't wait to see if he lives up to the reputation of this prestigious line.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
The different models of the “Flave” series all share common lines. The Flave 22 tank looks a lot like the Flave 24 tank, but its 22mm gives it a slimmer, less “stocky” appearance.
We start with the drip-tip which is made in the same transparent plastic material as the tank (in makrolon), resistant to shocks and high temperatures. It is held in place by two proprietary seals, it is of average diameter and size.
It is placed on the top-cap, a slightly tapered piece at the level of its top where we can see a well marked dropout. It is pierced with two openings which are oblong millings of 2 by 4.5mm, we notice that they follow a slight slope. There is also a very fine “alliancetech vapor” engraving.
Then we find the tank which measures about 5 / 6mm, which is rather small compared to the top-cap part, it reminds a little of the Origin of the Hungarian moderator Norbert.
The base is very simple, equipped with a gold-plated 510 connection pin.
Under the top-cap, we find the specific platform to the series even if the French moderator tells us to have made some small changes that are imperceptible to those who do not know the Flave.
This tray has proven itself and seems convenient to use.
The Flave is made of 316 stainless steel, the machining is perfect and the threads flawless, the quality feeling is excellent. We are faced with a high-end atomizer which assumes its rank in terms of production and which thus justifies, in part, its high price.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
Let's start by talking about his tray. The assembly posts are located on the periphery of the plate, they adopt the roundness of the structure. Both posts are fitted with “big head” screws which seem very strong. The coil will naturally find its place in the center, we will also note the presence of two notches hollowed out on the perimeter. They allow you to position the rod that serves as a template for your resistance and thus place it in an ideal way.
There are two holes at the two ends of the “channel” which receives the coil, they are there to allow your cotton wick to dive into the tank.
The posts are both drilled by the airflow system, we will vary the alignment of these holes and those of the top-cap to qualify the air arrival on the coil. A system that is both original in its positioning and construction, but classic in its use.
The Flave is filled with a small tubular opening closed with a small black plastic cap.
The last little thing to add in this paragraph is the presence of a second BF type gold plated 510 pin, a very interesting possibility given the small tank.
This Flave tank 22 seems really well thought out. A priori, it has all the assets necessary for the exaltation of flavors.

The Flave comes with its proprietary transparent makrolon drip-tip, of medium size and diameter. It seems quite suitable for the vape offered by the Flave. Equipped with two seals, it holds correctly in place. You can find other models from the manufacturer.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
A small black box equipped with a flap held in place by a magnet. On the box, we just find the name of the brand and the atomizer, no pictograms, no warning, just a sticker that specifies the serial and batch numbers.
Inside, our Flave and a pocket of spares, no instructions.
Included in the accessory bag are spare screws for the posts, gaskets, a replacement tank cap and most importantly the gold plated BF pin.
All of this is very correct, but I think we could have a slightly more prestigious container and a notice would be welcome.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
The Flave is generally quite practical. First of all, its compact size allows it to marry without any problem with all the mods on the market. No need for a racing animal, our atomizer is satisfied with a reasonable power (10 to 25W).
The assembly of the coil is very simple, the notches help you to place your jig rod, you can use all kinds of cables, even the most complex. Cotton, too, is placed instinctively, you just have to make sure you find the right dosage to allow the liquids to rise well and soak the cotton.
The filling is quite practical but is not the most comfortable. First of all you have to remove the small black plastic cap and not lose it. Then, you will need a bottle equipped with a thin tip because the opening is not of a very large diameter. Finally, you will have to go slowly to allow the air to escape properly otherwise, you will systematically have an overflow.
Once again, we are on an aspect that recalls the Origin. To conclude on this point, it would seem that the bottom feeder solution is much more practical.
The capacity of the tank is a little fair, again, long live the pine BF!
In terms of sensations, we are faced with a vape that goes from restricted to reasonable air and my faith, the atomizer perfectly deciphers the flavors whatever your settings.
An effective atomizer, quite affordable technically, only the filling is a little below in its classic use.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
For a first meeting, I admit that I am not disappointed.
To begin with, the design is very elegant and neat, the 22mm version has in addition, I find, a certain finesse which is for me welcome in these times when 24mm is required to the chagrin of lovers of 22mm tubular mods.
You don't have to be an expert to appreciate the qualitative feeling. The materials and the machining are just perfect, there is nothing to complain about.
The commissioning is, it, relatively simple, the coil is placed easily thanks to the notches which serve as guide to the template. Only cotton is perhaps more difficult to quantify. Indeed, it will be necessary to find the right dosage to facilitate the circulation of the juice.
In terms of sensations, nothing to say, the flavors are perfectly restored, our Flave behaves exactly like a dripper despite its tank function and we will be delighted to note that this quality in the definition of tastes is optimal whatever the flow of restrained air.
So cocorico, our little French atomizer logically wins a Top Ato. Pretty, fine and efficient, there will ultimately only be its price which will be a drag for some but the quality has to be paid for and the price is consistent with the prices of its little European friends.
