Comments on the packaging

We find ourselves once again in the world of Parisian chic, dear to our friends of the Ambrosia Paris brand. After offering us a meeting with the four winds of Greek mythology, it is to the tea rooms that they invite us with their “Les Petites Gourmandises” range.

A range based on pastry-inspired recipes, offered in a PG / VG ratio of 35/65 and in nicotine levels of 0, 3, 6 mg / ml, the target is therefore the confirmed vaper.
A dark glass bottle of 10ml, a classic and classy dressing, a rather high price, no doubt we are on the land of the high end.

The name leaves little question: the cupcake. So we should find a cake, but for what?

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

We find all the information in accordance with the legislation, the composition, the lot number, the DLUO, it just misses the relief marking for the visually impaired. Note also the presence of the coordinates of the mark, but you will need a magnifying glass so the size of the font is reduced.
We find, of course, the cupboard imposed by the tpd for warnings, but I did not find the notice ...

Anyway, for me, no major concern that would jeopardize the confidence I have in this small brand.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Vapelier's note regarding packaging with regard to juice category: 5 / 5 5 5 out of stars

Comments on the packaging

In view of the tariff position Ambrosia had to look after its presentation.
We therefore find the small black glass bottle so dear to the brand of the 14th arrondissement. It is, of course, equipped with a glass pipette.

Regarding the dressing, we are on an antique style label, with its white background covered with floral motifs which for this recipe adopts a pinkish red color.
It is on this background of late XNUMXth century inspiration, that we find a very classic cartouche with a white background delimited by a black frame where are affixed the name of the juice, the brand and the range in a calligraphic initial letter, it too, very classic.

The rest of the label is devoted to legal notices and information.

Nothing to say, this presentation is worthy of fine grocery stores in the capital, we are in the world of French luxury (voluntarily obsolete) which also reflects a form of traditionalism.
A beautiful result.

Comments on the taste of the juice

“A wild strawberry cake, where a light and creamy cream is mixed with subtle notes of berries and vanilla.”
That's the promise, and therefore the recipe for our cupcake.
The scents that escape from the bottle convey the elements of our recipe. A pastry base, fruits, and a touch of vanilla. It is rather attractive and if you are greedy, you are at this moment eager to start tasting.
At the taste level it is more subtle, at first, we find our wild strawberry which is stewed, it is accompanied by a zest of vanilla. In the background it is a kind of cake soaked in a syrup of diffused red fruits.
The whole forms a fine and refined whole, where the balance is successful but not quite in agreement with this American delicacy.

It is indeed a gourmet juice, but it is more subtle than its smell and name suggest. For my part, the cake part is too discreet for a cupcake, I expected something more frank.
As always, Ambrosia, plays the note of lightness a little, but here I find that it is perhaps a little too much compared to the basic subject chosen.

My mood ticket on this juice

The name, the smell, the brand, it all came together for a good time. A cupcake, a gourmet cupcake from across the Atlantic that has seen many interpretations, so I couldn't wait to discover that of Ambrosia Paris.
At the opening of the bottle everything is there, a smell of cake, vanilla and fruit in a rather fine way invite us to taste.
The first puffs are immediately pleasant. A strawberry stewed in vanilla notes opens the ball. Then a cake, as if wet with a syrup of red fruits, arises in a somewhat vague way around our central fruit. It's fine and subtle, and frankly it's pretty good.
But now, this revisit seems perhaps a little too complex. Cupcake is a simple cake, the basis of which is a tender and fondant cake flavored in different ways. In my opinion, it is not meant to be subtle, when I think of cupcake, I think of simple and delicious. And this may be for me, the mistake of our Parisian friends.

But let's be clear, I'm not saying it's bad or failed, I'm just saying it's not what I have in mind when I hear “Cupcake”.
So if you are a basic gourmet, this juice is not necessarily made for you, even if its name appeals to you, on the other hand if you are into finesse, refinement, you will be delighted.
Its price is a little prohibitive, at the same time I cannot envisage the use of this juice in allday, its subtlety prevents it in my opinion from a prolonged use otherwise the flavors will quickly become indecipherable and the juice would become without any interest.

Good Vape
