The TFV4 Mini is a hybrid clearomizer on which it is possible to mount a multitude of different proprietary resistors but also several RBA trays to rebuild your resistance.
The model loaned for this test, provides a RBA tray that allows to mount a double coil with 2 proprietary resistors that have a huge dimension and are provided for the sub-ohm. One is done in sextuple coil of value 0.4Ω (to vaper between 30 and 100w) and the other is a double clapton of value 0.35Ω (to vaper between (30 and 90w).
As you will have understood, this Clearomizer is made to vap on high powers with low resistors elaborated with multiple threads or with consequent thicknesses of son.
Let's see how it would be wise to use the RBA plate so as to stick to the clearest vapor of clearomizer.

A Clearomiser with a nice “boil” that looks a lot like all these current models. Nothing exceptional in the aesthetics except the way of filling by a top cap which swivels for the opening, which also allows to open the tank, to change the resistance without emptying the atomizer, here is a practical idea.
The materials used are very correct between stainless steel and pyrex, so it does not mark too much fingerprints. Pyrex, like all pyrexes, is not immune to one shot but Smoktech offers us two silicone rings to protect this tank.
The assembly of the different parts is very simple with good threads and the seals are perfectly tight.
The coils provided are of a good size and intended for a vape on high powers therefore the 3.5ml tank is a bit tight in terms of autonomy.

The main function of this Clearomizer is to use particular assemblies which allow you to vape on very high powers, up to 100 watts, with ease and to provide a large volume of vapor. Successful bet !
The filling of the tank is innovative and exceptionally functional since it is done simply by the top by rotating the top-cap and that the change of resistance does not require to empty the tank.
Only small flat is the capacity of this clearomiseur: 3.5ml with the RBA plateau but passes to 3ml barely with the proprietary resistors. For regular use this tank will be refueled often in the day, especially if you steam to more than 50 Watts.
The RBA plate is not so easy to equip because for this type of atomizer it is important to have a specific assembly so as not to risk blockages, since we have very deep channels on either side of the plate. with tiny screws and threading stations that will not accept all wire diameters. these must fit into a particular position to be properly wedged.
For the pine, I regret that it is not adjustable.
The flavors are not exceptional on this atomizer but remains correct, however the steam is abundant and the hit more sensitive by heating, even allows to lower your nicotine.

The drip-tip provided is fabulous. In both stainless steel and pyrex, it is designed so that you do not feel the heat of resistance to your lips.
A well adapted accessory that I particularly appreciated for this type of product. The notched ring near the base opens or closes side vents allowing you additional cooling directly from the drip tip. A useful little extra that you can position the vents closed, when you vape at normal temperatures.

Your equipment will arrive in a cardboard box, this packaging is really suitable and very complete.
Only the different documents are in English, but it is easy to understand what is written thanks to the various photos.
The box is equipped with the atomizer with a tray RBA, 2 proprietary resistors, 2 silicone rings, 1 pyrex extra, a screwdriver, a cotton bag, resistive wire, spare seals, a card for the guarantee, a notice to describe the different resistances existing (for this model) and a notice in English.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
The TFV4 Mini is of assembly simplicity, childish. On the other hand if you use the tray RBA it is something else.
To use the RBA plate, be careful because its diameter is very small, 12mm by more. So for this type of atomizer it is important to have a fairly specific assembly. On the plate you will discover tiny screws which do not accept all the diameters of wires because they must be inserted in a particular position to be wedged. Yet the enormous air flow hole under the resistance and the large channels are made to have a resistance of small value with a wire large enough to manage to hold a power of 50 Watts because the arrival of liquid is consequent.
The Kanthal 0,5mm diameter I asked some small difficulties in tightening with the screws, even if the assembly is feasible. The double coil (classical) is also dangerous with the risk of dry hit because the place allows only resistances of 2 mm diameter.
The ideal for me was a double coil by doubling my Kanthal 0.4mm in diameter on a 4mm support and 5 turns (X2) I get a value of 0.5Ω (which is equivalent to a double coil in parallel) . So I optimize the space on the board and I can use a wick that absorbs a lot of liquid on a large diameter of resistance, while compressing a cotton of Fiber Freaks D2 type so as not to risk clogging or a strong dry hit. power.
For proprietary resistors, they too are out of the ordinary. Impressive in their look, they are also in their design, since one is in sextuple coil and the other in double Clapton. Imposing fixtures that consume a lot of liquid and require great power.
So, a tank that turns out to be too small for this clearomizer or that requires several refills for a day of vape. in conclusion, a use on proprietary resistors which is accessible to all, but an RBA plateau which is not the easiest and which will only be appreciated by the initiated.

The TFV4 mini is a hybrid clearomizer that is made to vape towards 50watts and even more.
A nice look with an innovative top cap for filling the tank. Huge home resistances for a powerful vape, as much on the steam as on the hit.
With the RBA platform, the design of this atomizer requires a good knowledge of the various assemblies.
A clearomizer suitable for boxes which push the watts very high but be careful with the capacity of the tank which does not allow a large reserve for this atomizer excessively greedy in e-liquid and which needs to be filled often.
