Comments on the packaging

A final round of the track within the Curiosités de Fuu range with the Tenebrio, a sort of black beetle, which therefore completes the already well-stocked gallery of insects from the laboratory of the scientist Fuu.

The packaging is close to perfection. First of all, the famous very dark cobalt blue glass bottle, as long as it looks as black as the aforementioned beetle, which will help in the conservation of your liquid and its protection against damage caused by UV rays. . For gamma rays, plan a lead box ...

The litany of useful information flourishes on the label like acne on a teenage face and nothing has been forgotten. Fuu maybe, but not stupid, the manufacturer does not play with transparency. Moreover, on this liquid as on the others in the range, we are here on version 2 of the recipe which made it possible to remove the few traces of suspicious molecules which could exist in version 1. When we do not know , we have the right to make mistakes but when we know, doing nothing is a serious mistake. Fuu has taken on the new information on product safety that scientists are gradually gleaning in a good way. It is by behaving in this way that we will one day be able to produce products without no danger, I am sure.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

Well, okay, there's water and I can tell it's going to turn a couple of vinegars green. Me, personally, I eat it like the first orgasm of Queen Elisabeth. Thinking, by the way, that if breathing water vapor was toxic, all Londoners would have died long ago. We add water to an e-liquid to make it more fluid and to promote vapor, not to poison people. In addition, it is milli-Q water, of very high purity, not water from cooling ponds of nuclear power plants.

Apart from this ecological disaster therefore, there is absolutely nothing to reproach the Tenebrio which behaves brilliantly. Everything is there: child safety, pictograms, triangle for the visually impaired and even a DLUO always useful. If there had been the place, they would undoubtedly have added the age of the captain or the next Loto © draw but, in this case, we are not going to complain that the bride is too beautiful.

Comments on the packaging

I have an excellent feeling about the general aesthetic, which skilfully mixes the quasi-pharmaceutical aspect evoked by the immaculate whiteness of the label and the alchemy workshop with this stylized insect on the bottle. I find the concept fun and very well done.

As for the bottle itself which we have already spoken about, I appreciate the opacity quality guaranteeing conservation. Hoping that this type of packaging can continue after May 2016 because glass is healthier, objectively, than plastic but also sexier when you invest € 10 in a bottle.

Comments on the taste of the juice

In the mouth, we take a flight of eucalyptus, accompanied by the inherent freshness. In the distance, we can feel a more complex aspect, very slightly anise, grassy and a bitter touch that could well be the promised absinthe. Then the creaminess of the custard, an element common to all the juices in the range, tries to find its way to coat, sweeten and soften.

Some will find this mixture “daring” and it is quite respectable. Others, including myself, will find it a bit incongruous.

Because the Tenebrio lacks the harmony that reigns among the other juices in the range. Here, we are witnessing more of a fight. Who, eucalyptus / absinthe or vanilla cream will do the best? And, in my opinion, this takes place to the detriment of the taste which is certainly unique but will not be unanimous. The match is not a draw, far from it, but its interest remains to be demonstrated.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

Dilemma that continues when choosing his gear and mounting.

Indeed, a rather hot temperature will not go at all in the direction of the freshness of the eucalyptus. Conversely, a cold temperature will annihilate the desperate efforts of the Custard to show off. So, let's try a montage and a power capable of generating lukewarmness, the only middle ground in my opinion, which will perhaps allow everyone to be on an equal footing. No need to hope to reach strong powers, even very aerial, because Tenebrio then loses the interest of its taste for those who adhere to it.

My mood ticket on this juice

I really liked the Curiosités range, built around various variations around custard. In addition, the new recipes all highlight better precision of the aromas, the abandonment of an over-creaminess too easy to participate in a more developed taste acuity.

My only mistake was to end up with the Tenebrio, which did not win my vote. A question of personal taste most certainly because the quality of the blend seems to me to be on par with other productions. But I must admit that the gourmet vanilla eucalyptus, it did not bring me tears of joy. A bit like a vanilla Danette with Valda pastille ...

Too bad for me and so much the better for those who will like this risky bet which I welcome all the same impertinence.
