Comments on the packaging

May the gourmands raise their hands!

The Tentation range of Liquideo includes three gourmet versions.
The Lemon Meringue Tart is one of them and it is with unfeigned pleasure that I embark on this evaluation.

If the recipe is available in a vial of 50ml to boost, at the Vapelier, we received that in TPD format of 10ml.
Recycled plastic bottle whose label covers the majority of the available surface, a fine tip at the end allows filling facilitated by the vast majority of atomization devices.

The dedicated PG / VG ratio is 60/40. I find this value surprising for a gourmand who I would imagine with a higher proportion of vegetable glycerin.

Nicotine levels range from 0 to 10 mg / ml, without omitting intermediate values of 3 & 6 mg / ml. I am surprised by this type of range and especially fluidity not to find the 15 mg / ml available on other versions of the catalog.

The price is in the category of entry-level for a current price at this level of 5,90 € at retailers of the brand or the website of the brand.

Vapelier's note regarding the respect of various conformities (except religious): 5 / 5 5 5 out of stars

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

As usual, everything is perfect.
In addition, Liquideo informs us that the flavors do not contain parabens, ambrox or diacetyl.

The addition of a film covering the vial doubles the safety of the vial and acts as a seal. This assures us, in addition to the seal of inviolability, of a potion never opened; it is not systematic among manufacturers therefore useful to underline.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Vapelier's note regarding packaging with regard to juice category: 5 / 5 5 5 out of stars

Comments on the packaging

In keeping with the spirit desired by the manufacturer, this “pastry” range from Liquideo also benefits from a clear layout, correctly legible and opportune sobriety.

Obviously the large format is more to its advantage because the amount of information and other mandatory pictograms are a little cramped on the 10ml packaging.

Sensory appreciations

  • Color and product name agree ?: Yes
  • Do the smell and the name of the product agree ?: Yes
  • Definition of smell: Lemon, Pastry
  • Definition of taste: Lemon, Pastry chef
  • The taste and the name of the product, do they agree ?: Yes
  • Did I like this juice ?: I wouldn't splurge on it
  • This liquid reminds me of: The essential Lemon Tart by Dinner Lady

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 4.38/5 4.4 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

The blend of this recipe is well done, the balance is obvious and demonstrates proven know-how.

I am, on the other hand, less convinced by the choice of the main aroma. The lemon is citrus-like and there is no doubt about it, but this is not the expected result in a gourmet variation.
I would have appreciated a slightly candied fruit, able to reproduce the evoked taste and a more sweet flavor.
The greedy side and round in the mouth is unfortunately absent for a declination that I do not judge pastry.

I think that only the lemon is to blame since just before I evaluated the Apricot Tart from the same range which won my votes.

The potion is accompanied by a moderate aromatic power allowing a daily vape. The hit is light for a volume of vapor expelled according to the announced values.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 30W
  • Type of vapor obtained at this power: Dense
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Light
  • Atomizer used for the review: Dripper Zénith & Aromamizer Rdta
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.6Ω
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Kanthal, Stainless steel, Cotton

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

A versatile potion by its very essence, Meringue Lemon Tart will accommodate many atomizers.
A well chosen dripper allows you to get all the quintessence of the potion but clearly, this kind of device is not his cup of tea.
Be sure to keep air and power under control.

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: Morning, End of lunch / dinner with a coffee, End of lunch / dinner with a digestif, All afternoon during everyone's activities, Early evening to relax with a drink, End of the evening with or without herbal tea, The night for insomniacs
  • Can this juice be recommended as an All Day Vape: Yes

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.38 / 5 4.4 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

Inevitably, the comparison with “The” gold standard in lemon meringue pies hangs over this assessment.
The English of Dinner Lady have reached such a degree of realism with the Lemon Tart that the analogy is almost obligatory.

The interpretation of Liquideo unfortunately does not reach the level of its counterpart; the “So British” star remains on her pedestal.
The French version is not unpleasant. But a lack of gluttony, a lemon too close to citrus and not sufficiently candied to be a pastry chef does not succeed in convincing me.

Nevertheless, the potion made in Liquideo will be able to satisfy new vapers who have not yet crossed the road of Lemon Tart. As the preparation and the realization do not suffer from any criticism, there are many arguments for the acquisition of this Lemon Meringue Tart.

Finally, I would add, as I have expressed it many times on Le Vapelier, that taste is a subjective notion, mine as well as yours, even if I attach importance to the objectivity of these words. I do not forget the many Liquideo recipes to which I have awarded a Top Juice Le Vapelier. So we needed one, because a range cannot obtain laurels on the totality of the production. And I'm disappointed that it came across this benchmark.

See you soon for new hazy adventures,

About the Author

Follower of the tobacco vape and rather "tight" I do not balk in front of good greedy clouders. I love flavor-oriented drippers but am very curious about the evolutions of our common passion for personal vaporizers. Good reasons to make my modest contribution here, no?
