The atomizer that occupies us today is a clearomizer of 3,5ml juice reserve. It works with CCell specific resistors whose characteristics we will detail and which are compatible with Atlantis, Atlantis 2, Atlantis mega, Triton and Triton 2 atomizers.
Rather modestly priced, it nevertheless needs these proprietary resistors to be functional. You will find it for just under € 4 each or in a pack of 5 around € 18,90. Appeared in November 2015, does this atomizer really hold “revolutionary” resistances?

The Pyrex tank is 21,75mm long for 1,5mm thick. It turns out unprotected and exposed to possible shocks.
The ato is stainless steel. Two main parts constitute it: the base with its non-adjustable 510 connection, the housing of the resistor and a base with 2 airholes with the comfortable opening (2 times 10mm on 2mm of thickness, adjustable by a rotary ring stopped by a stop ). The other part is composed of a heating chamber / fireplace, tank and top-cap with teflon drip-tip (Teflon ™).
The whole is well finished, aesthetically neat and practical to handle. The top-cap / drip-tip junction is finned to dissipate the relative heat produced. The filling is done with the tank removed, upside down, “old-fashioned” one might say. The resistance change can be made with a full tank, since the 2 parts (base and tank) are independent.

Only the adjustment of the flow of air supply will be your responsibility, because for the rest, it is already pre-set, the resistance will be either in Kanthal for 0,9 ohm, or in Nickel200 for 0,2 ohm (values given in theory because different in practice, example 0,16ohm instead of 0,2 and 0,84 for 0,9).
Vaporesso gives power range indications for the CCell at 0,9 ohm: between 20 and 35W, for the Ni 200 in TC mode, you are advised to have a temperature between 450 and 600 ° F, which is to say very hot!
Your feelings, as well as the type of juice you are going to vape, will determine what resistance you choose and how much power you will use it.
Changing the resistance is child's play, you just have to prime it as you do for an OCC or other, and if your juice is 100% VG, wait 15 minutes for the ceramic to be impregnated (or even longer with juice with flavors based on absolutes or macerates).

15,5mm long (excluding 510 connection) and 8mm internal diameter at the mouth for only 5mm at the chimney inlet.
Teflon is welcome for sensations and heat dissipation, but the useful diameter is in my opinion a little light, like that of the chimney (4,5mm). The drip-tip floats a little in its housing, the joints do not hold it firmly. If we do not plan to catch the set-up by the latter, it can be fine, otherwise there is a great risk that it will remain in the fingers and the gear on the ground… So be careful.

The Target tank is delivered in a cardboard box, inside which have been arranged three compartments in a semi-rigid foam.
The atomizer and a resistor mounted inside is on one side, while on the other you will find a resistor (Ni200 at o, 2 ohm) and a spare pyrex tank with two sets of gaskets black.
A manual in English describes the components of the ato and explains how to use it (filling, changing resistors, adjusting the airflow).

The clearomizer does not present real innovations, so we will focus on this famous resistance CCell without capillary.
Since Dr. Farsalinos concluded a study by the fact that a potential danger of the vape seems to come from the contact between the liquid and the coil (including capillaries), the manufacturers have looked into the question and are starting to offer coils better suited to our health security.
We therefore see the appearance on the market of equipment made with components supposed to be neutral in terms of particle emissions following heating, CCell, according to Vaporesso, is as such, a “revolutionary” resistance. What is it about ?
The concept is the absence of a capillary (which can cause a dry hit and release toxic residues), thanks to a coil design, partially molded in a porous ceramic cylinder.

If, indeed, there is no longer capillary contact / juice, it is not the same for the resistive wire which remains partially soaked inside the cylinder. The porosity of any matter whatsoever necessarily entails this contact, part of the problem remains unresolved in the case of the CCell.
Only Guo has, for the moment, designed a resistance without any contact of the juice with the coil (that of the Altus). The revolution therefore seems a little exaggerated, especially since less than three months after the release of Target, a rumor circulated on a social network, destroying for the account the reputation of these resistances, Some reviewers (and not the less known) launched then alarming videos, relayed by a tenor of hardware in the USA: Vaporshark (screenshot of the alert below).

What is the situation, and what can we conclude from the use of these resistors? The composition of the ceramic does not indicate any elements liable to evolve dangerously with thermal elevation, even magnesium oxide (MgO) remains very stable at high temperature (+ 1000 ° C) it enters into the composition of the ceramic cylinder due to its structure and particle size, obtained after calcination above 1500 ° C, which will contribute to the porosity of the final material.
The vertical coil is partly (outer) embedded in this cylinder, which itself is surrounded by a "cotton" which is both filtering (for large particles) and keeps the cylinder soaked. The longevity is more proven with this type of resistance, certainly, in comparison with another resistance of this type, because I can certify you have vaper months on the same coil in the Magma or other drippers, and do not have changed only to move to another value without them having finished their life.
Regarding the restitution of flavors, opinions are divided, in terms of duration and quality. I will not comment because I only tried this ato for 2 days, without finding any exception whatsoever! Not being used to clearomizers, I could not compare it to others, I will not talk about revolution, especially compared to a good dripper ...
Cleaning seems possible in addition to dry burn, water, after a short drying (hair dryer) or longer (placed on a radiator) the resistance seems to leave without problem, I have not tried, but I can not see the taste of a Sub Zero or a Snake Oil, to fade so easily from a resistance of this type ...

The mood ticket of the reviewer
As is often the case with marketing, the announcement promises everything and reality shows that it is very exaggerated. Vaporesso thought it best to communicate in the sensational, but in the end, we stay on the correct, nothing more.
For the asking price, it is certain that this material is completely in conformity with what it is supposed to bring, a vape in sub-ohm with the supplied steam and with the well restored flavors at the beginning of the life of the resistance, if you respect the power ranges indicated.
With the Ni200 at 0,2ohm it is not in my opinion necessary to exceed 280 ° C, you probably know that beyond this temperature glycerin produces acrolein, toxic in high doses and that the resistance does not prevent inhalation.
