Le French Liquide continues to make us dream with its “Secrets d'Apothicaire” range and this second gourmet tobacco juice. The name it bears must have been born in the brain of Jim Morrisson in full acidic delirium but it is totally out of the ordinary.
At the market segment level, we find ourselves on an e-liquid in the average price but which, by its packaging and its description, seems rather to be a juice of the superior category displaying all the elegance including that of offering to a reasonable rate.
The packaging is of a quality above all suspicion with a pretty cylindrical box containing the bottle and a very endearing design. All that's missing is a tamper-evident seal to be fully in line with the standards in force, but the vaping fairies whispered in my ear that it would soon be done. A manufacturer who therefore improves his product on a regular basis is a good omen.
The consumer information is present in duplicate, on the box and on the bottle, a redundancy of good quality for those who do not keep the box once opened. Le French Liquide does better than we ask, it does very well.

Comments on the packaging
We have already mentioned the packaging a little above but it is worth it to linger a little because the work of staging the product required care and talent from its designers. The cylindrical box, in shades of sand and brown, is surmounted by an old paper-style label which illustrates the contents of the bottle. Here, Philosophical Syrup, therefore, with a very appropriate “vintage science” design!
The bottle itself is blood red and more reminiscent of an alchemist's vial than an apothecary's vial but the color throws it away and highlights the label perfectly while protecting the juice from the damaging effects of light .
Clearly, a packaging very much up to the asking price for the whole and we have not yet tested the liquid !!!

Philosophical syrup! What taste can such a liquid have? A flavor of existentialism coupled with a demonstration of Descartes or a touch of Kant with a nuance of Nietzsche ??? Hard to say!
And yet, the name seems to me perfectly suited to this magic potion which raises intense questions about its actual composition at the time of tasting. We can easily recognize a base of blond tobacco, aggressive enough to say “I'm here” but sweetened enough to pleasantly invade our palate, I even have the impression of feeling a perfumed effect that reminds me of amber. We also feel the presence of a cherry perfectly prepared and divinely accompanied by a procession of spices and various sweets and difficult to define which totally magnify it. This difficulty of analysis which pushes to surpass oneself to find the ingredients reinforces the power of our thought and therefore the Philosophical Syrup finds here all its nominative legitimacy by exacerbating our senses and our reflection and we end up declaiming: “I think, therefore I am".
