Comments on the packaging

Rope Cut liquids come from Canada. This range of premium liquid is presented in clear glass bottles of 30ml equipped with glass pipettes. Proposed in 0, 3, 6, 12mg / ml of nicotine, the juices display a ratio of 30 / 70.
All this seems for the moment very classic, but Rope Cut takes its name from the pipe tobacco used by the sailors. This coarse-cut tobacco took the form of a rope, so that a puck was cut off and stuffed into its pipe. Well packed, this tobacco was not likely to be the trunk at the first hollow.
Rope Culture offers us a range that revolves around the flavors of pipe tobacco.
Pipe tobacco, but not that, because each recipe combines tobacco with more gourmet flavors.
Another Anglo-Saxon maritime expression for this juice: ”shellback”. But qu'are aco?I will try to give you an explanation, but above all, we will talk about this other development of pipe tobacco.

Comments on the packaging

Rope Cut built a cool logo. A skull wearing a captain's cap. A big beard, a mustache and a pipe complete the portrait of our ghost captain. A thin rope surrounds this painting from beyond the grave, to recall our common thread: pipe tobacco.
It borrows both the imagery of piracy, and the image of the more contemporary navy.
Under this iconic illustration, the name Rope Cut is written in the style of a signature. All vials share this visual, a vertical band bears the name and ratio PG / VG.
Without being exceptional, I like the spirit of this logo, a synthesis of Captain Haddock, the pirate flag, and Mamie Nova. So I'm sure the first two references seem quite valid to you, but Mamie Nova? Yes, my tortuous mind wants to associate this grandmother with this logo, because of the overall concept of these juices which associate tobacco and gourmet notes. It's twisted I grant you but it's what crossed my mind last night, like what, I am Vapelier even in my dreams.

Comments on the taste of the juice

Relax while enjoying this superb blend of tobacco and green apples on a bed of Graham Crackers, that's the product description. An aromatic, powerful, “gourmet” pipe tobacco tamed by the contribution of a green apple and a touch of Graham Crackers biscuit dear to the dyers fond of this aroma from Capella.

It's very good, but this predominant blend of apple and manly tobacco is sure not to please everyone. Personally I like it, but I'm a fan of the Midnight Apple from Halo. So a fan but not a follower either, this is the kind of flavor that I like to tease occasionally but impossible to envision over too long a distance, because the mix, although once again, is balanced and well. defined, it becomes a bit sickening in the long run.

This liquid has two readings, one low-power with medium airflow that gives pride to the apple flavor, and one with higher power with big airflow that favors the Graham. Both are interesting.

My mood ticket on this juice

“On this… New Year's Day… I, Neptune who stirs up storms and commands the waves, welcome you, O proud sailors. Having seen you in the flamboyant shower of the majestic Phoebus, “Mercury”, quick messenger announces to me the daring intrusion of your nave on the borders of my kingdom. And the faithful Iris informs me that you are the crew of… and that you come from France. Be my hosts for a day ”.

(from Commander to Seaman, Neptune will greet all categories of ship's personnel).

“But what do I see?
-What is this infamous herd of cattle? !! Are these neophytes that you are offering me here? Oh !! Vile multitude, fear my divine gaze, Fear my just wrath! Vile swine, bow to my majesty!
-Abject spawn who dares to defile these sacred places and in this state appear ...
Tremble! Tremble Neophytes. ”

Here is a standard speech which accompanies this ceremony of hazing of the sailors who make for the first time the crossing of the line of Equator representing the limit between the two hemispheres. The Anglo-Saxon sailors receive on this occasion the title of Shellback.

It is therefore to greet this passage that Rope Cut offers us this recipe. Always around a rather virile pipe tobacco, the Canadian brand associates it with apple and graham cracker to make it greedy and to sweeten it. It's very successful, the liquid is balanced and precise. In addition, it can be vaped in power or in a more traditional vape, offering a different but very interesting feeling in both cases. I like it, although I find it a bit heavy in the long run, I don't recommend it for all day use.
So become a Shellback at a lower cost, and if anyone sees the connection between flavors and this event in the life of sailors, let me know, because despite my research, I have not found.

On this, good wind and good vape.
