The Dark Story range from Alfaliquid represents the premium branch of this French vape giant.
Presented in tinted glass bottles of 20ml, these juices display a median and matt PG / VG ratio of 50 / 50. This range is therefore wide and it is more oriented towards the flavor aspect than the big-cloud. Offered in 0, 6, 11, 16 mg, it affirms its desire to rake wide.
The range continues to grow and today, it is the Ruby Skin, released recently, that we are going to study.

Alfaliquid, as the doyen on the French market, has a lot of experience in the areas grouped under the banner of compliance, so no surprise everything is at the top. Only the presence of alcohol makes the note slightly lower. However, it should be noted that both alcohol and vegetable glycerin are bio-labeled.

The liquids in the Dark Story range all adopt the same presentation, but each flavor has its own illustration.
For this Ruby Skin, it's the bottom of a marble feminine face, we see cracks on the cheeks but above all luscious lips dressed in a dark red lipstick. The name Ruby Skin takes place at the bottom of this image, it is in a somewhat coarse style, kind painted with a large brush with raised hands.
It is quite suitable and in line with the price level, even if the image and the name do not speak to me more than that and that the link with the flavors does not seem obvious, one cannot objectively fault anything with this presentation.

Comments on the taste of the juice
A blend of strawberry, orange, lemon, anise and mint. Here is the recipe for this summer cocktail. Sun and freshness, that's the subject.
Strawberry in the lead, followed closely by orange, the two flavors unite to form the basis of this mix. The lemon brings pep and a slight acidity, mint and anise in the background accentuate the fresh side.
It's really not bad! For me, we're on a Pink Spot-style juice, this American juice manufacturer based in Las Vegas, very strong in this kind of flavor. It's balanced, sweet just right, really perfect for the beach this summer.

My mood ticket on this juice
Skin Ruby is sexy, it is one of those juices that carry the sun and the beach. Like a cocktail, it offers you a refreshing, gourmet but light mix of fruits, exactly what we like to sip when the weather is clear and the temperature rises.
The strawberry / orange base works very well and the tangy and fresh touches punctuate this blend wonderfully. However, the juice is delicate, it should not be rushed or considered over too long periods, the strawberry has a tendency to withstand heating and, over time, its taste power erodes.
In the end, Alfaliquid offers us a good recipe, worthy of one of the specialists in the genre: Pink Spot Vapor (one of my references in this field with Mister E-liquid).
If you are looking for which juice to pack in your luggage for your stay in the sun, consider the Ruby Skin. By the way, given the brand's presence in France, if you forget it there is a good chance that you will find it in the local shop.
