As usual at UD the atomizer is well protected in an anti-shock box. At the back, you will find the bag containing the replacement O-rings as well as 2 resistance fixing screws in addition to the 2 resistive wires and 2 Ekowool capillaries. A manual in English fully details the components of the model on a shutter, explanations and drawings inform you correctly how to assemble it on the back.
Depending on your place of purchase, the price of this atomizer varies between 30 and 35 € and for this reasonable price you are in possession of a very well finished, original and efficient object.
The drippers at Youde we know, this time everything has been redesigned in this product range, more complex and more evolved it is also the largest in volume. Its simplissime look and its red copper bill give it a nice singularity.

The reduced volume atomization chamber has side vents that you will place in front of the resistors. The plate is also provided with vents up to the positive pole for fixing the resistors. The AFC ring on the top-cap is mounted with an o-ring which makes the adjustment durable once positioned.
The stainless steel plate is screwed to the copper bottom cap (510 connection) provided with 4 vents in arcs of a circle.
Bottom vents (at connector level) are fixed and of little use with flush mounting on non-grooved flat head mods. The adjustable 510 copper connection will need to be checked and polished regularly to avoid possible oxidation.
The top cap closing seal on the plate is a little loose and if your ato has heated up quite a bit, it becomes impossible to hold the mod / dripper assembly by the drip tip: the top cap is very quickly detached from the rest of the 'ato (unless it was only mine that suffered from this annoying detail). I therefore recommend changing for a thicker o-ring.
Resistance clamps are made of stainless steel (screw flat heads) and the lights accept thick wires, 2 X 0,6mm spend quiet on the positive pad.
It weighs its weight (more than 60 g with the drip tip) the three visible parts (AFC ring - top-cap - bottom-cap) of the mounted ato are well adjusted without play or floating. It is perfectly cylindrical and accepts a 510 drip-tip.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
The presence of copper (top cap and connector) limits the use of this dripper to non-corrosive juices or that do not react to its contact. The plate and the heating chamber are not affected. Easy double coil assembly, the tank is equipped with “channels” and a border allowing a certain autonomy of juice (however modest). The depth adjustment of the positive copper pin of the connector is made with a flat screwdriver.
The stainless steel plate is practical to coil (diameter 16,5 mm - 2 mm resistive passage lights), the screws (flat heads) for fixing the resistors as well as the bodies (+ and - pole) which receive them are in stainless steel . The heating chamber (also in stainless steel) is strongly held by a thick o-ring (no hammer needed but you must not soften to place it!) It is imperative to position the vents facing the coils (unless you are a fervent fan of dry hits or burnt juice) when “closing” it because more visibility once the chamber is positioned.
The top-cap provides thermal insulation due to its relative distance from the tray and the chamber.

The drip-tip is like toothbrushes, each their own, and for once, you can even choose it.
An O-ring 510 and if you find one with a maximum suction opening (6mm) it will be the assurance of an aerial vape in direct inhalation adapted to the sub-ohm.

As it was said above: overall, the package and the instructions are up to par, for an absolute neophyte, I understand that a more detailed user manual would have been a plus ...
In fact, there is a lack of precision as to the setting of the positive pin of the connector, and everything is in English.
These small disadvantages will quickly disappear with the use of this dripper, especially as a wise consumer, you have chosen to inform yourself here, the problem is therefore solved ... 🙂

UD has yet found an original formula for a dripper whose main flaws we know: it's not “waterproof”, it's too tight, too airy, you have to fill it every 3 hits, it gets hot… ..j 'stop her.
The point is that the ancestor of atomizers still exists and is doing very well. The meteoric evolution of vaping equipment also benefits these atos which remain with the very well assembled genesis (all libidinous allusion aside) the best tools for tasting e-liquids. When we talk about restitution of tastes / flavors, it is with them that we must reckon.
The Chinese manufacturer has designed an ato that does not leak, (yes it is possible), so of course avoid turning it over with the drip tip at the bottom after having recharged it with juice, it is not a clearomiser or an RTA (although the latter are not always very reliable at this level). The air flows positioned at the top of the top cap have the happy consequence of avoiding flooding even when lying down. The air flow adjustment is complete insofar as it offers a range of flow never before offered by this brand, which means that fans of aerial vape will be satisfied. When the others are more measured, they also have the choice of an extremely tight vape (be careful when mounting in these conditions, do not go below 1 ohm).
To heat it up, it is possible but only in “ultra” ULR. Indeed its top cap is independent of the atomization chamber and your suction goes through it, this exchange ensures an honorable cooling and unless you do not let go of the mod of the day at 0,2ohm, you will not burn yourself.
Everything seems perfect and yet…. a negative point does exist on this version (unique for the moment), it is the autonomy of juice. The tank is very shallow despite the channels and the border we have little useful volume. By making a cotton assembly you can claim to recharge 1 ml and not much more, in silica fiber do not think about it any more, and the Fiber Freak which does not have the capacity of cotton retention will not allow you a comparable dose.
In summary, UD offers us a perfectly suitable dripper, one of the most airy in the range in my opinion, no leakage and a capacity of ten puffs possible (no 15 second bars either! ) depending on the volume of cotton used and if your assembly remains around one ohm. Disassembly and cleaning do not present any particular difficulty. A hot vape and a very good restitution of flavors thanks to its reduced heating chamber make it a dripper with appreciable performance and that, I hope, you will appreciate.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Innovating in the range of drippers becomes quite tricky. UD has somewhat succeeded in this challenge with this ato. A very simple aesthetic, the logo of the brand as well as the name of the model surmounted by a symbol oh so majestic and respected for the Chinese: an engraved dragon's head, so far nothing very new. Copper dresses it exclusively, and this is a first for this material in the brand. The air flow adjustable by rotating ring at the top of the top-cap is an innovation, this ventilation is also the most efficient of the dripper range, it smacks of its use in ULR…. And that's the case. A stainless steel plate on which there are no less than 8 air inlet vents including 2 right through the positive pole, another first. The reduced volume heating chamber narrowing in diameter (dome) towards the arrival at the drip tip limits the accumulation of condensate and fits into a housing provided on the top-cap to prevent the loss of steam. 2 elliptical vents ensure the arrival of air directly on the coils. The top-cap covers everything while providing thermal protection to the user; the 510 connector is screwed to the plate, equipped with lights in the lower part (of which I have not been able to discover the real function). The positive pin is adjustable (by screwing / unscrewing), it is copper and finishes the assembly in a coherent way.
Hard to beat in this price range, its major flaw is the low autonomy of juice and this is very unfortunate if we consider the elaborate degree of technique of design and finish of this original ato. I still have a hard time understanding why the creators neglected this flagrant aspect of the recurring defects of drippers that others have already solved rather well.
I glued DC mounts to him at 0,13 - 0,16 - 0,2 - 0,4 - 0,6 - 0,8 - 1 - and 1,2ohm with FF2 in mecha. The first 2 values are violent so as not to distort the juice and I do not recommend them, on the other hand if you want to create a London fog atmosphere, it helps…. from 0,4 we are good, the juice correctly restores the aromas. At 0,6 is the foot, it is in my opinion the minimum value to start getting the best of the beast with a value around one ohm it's perfect everything is there and the volume of vape without being enormous is more than enough for me, especially since the hit is not as important as at lower values.
There you go, it's up to you to tame the dragon, he's not mean and deserves respect.
