Vandy Vape does not stop offering us new atomizers, almost a new one per month, to the delight of geeks. This Chinese brand is part of this family of manufacturers, who offer very cutting-edge products at very competitive prices, intended for experienced vapers.
Their latest creation is a 24mm RDTA atomizer, the “Pyro”, equipped with a “postless” top-coil plate which can accommodate one or two resistors. It has a 4ml tank (as well as a 2ml tank reducer, cursed offspring of the TPD…).
The promise ? Flavor, clouds and exotic montages, a program all fire!

The Pyro adopts a rather stocky silhouette, with its 24.4 mm in diameter and 34,5 mm in height. We can not really say that it is fine.
Its 810 drip-tip reinforces this somewhat “brutal” side. At first glance, we understand that we are dealing with a tank top-coil atomizer.
The Pyro's top-cap has a solid side, all in stainless steel and its design has a medieval aspect. Let me explain: he is dressed in a sort of crown cut from the top of the top-cap. Personally, I see it as a sort of royal helm.
There is the engraving of the pretty Vandy Vape logo and, of course, two substantial air intakes whose shape is rather original.
The bottom of the atomizer is none other than the 4ml tank, you can choose to opt for the pyrex tank or the one in ultem.
Hidden under the “king's helmet”, there is an accessible postless tray, made to accommodate one or two resistors. Two large notches are there to allow the cotton to dive into the tank.
There are also two circular holes, diametrically opposed, which are provided for filling the tank. They are closed by two pitons carved into the mass of the lower part of the top-cap.
As often, we can not blame the Chinese brand much. All the parts are well machined, the materials appear to be of good quality and everything looks to be perfectly functional.
It's time now to ask him one or two coils and set the fire !!!

Vandy Vape used proven solutions to develop Pyro.
First of all a fairly classic postless tray. This one is equipped with gold-plated round head cruciform screws (we will see later that this is perhaps the only error on this atomizer). This type of tray offers an easy and practical mounting solution.
Our pyro is equipped with an easy-to-access filling system, you will hardly have any problems except… we will also talk about it later. , -)
The Pyro has an adjustable air supply system. The air flow ends directly on the side of the coil.
We notice that the inner top of our top-cap adopts the shape of a dome (and not a dome as a faithful admirer rightly pointed out to me). Thanks to this, the flavors will normally be exalted.
There is not much more to say, no revolutionary innovations, no secret functions, we are of course a product that uses simple and effective solutions.

You won't find one but two 810 drip-tips that are nicely in tune with the overall look of the beast but, let's be clear, if these two are absolutely correct, they're made exclusively for big clouds.
Vandy Vape has therefore thought of those who would be fans of less extreme vapes by adding an 510 adapter that will allow you to style the Pyro with the mouthpiece of your choice.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
Our Pyro is presented in a drawer box, a bit like a big box of matches. A small window (largely hidden by the TPD warning sticker (we should still tell our Chinese friends that this is not useful, this warning warning that the product contains nicotine, which is not not the case) in which appears our atomizer and, all around, we find a large flame which surrounds it warmly.Then, we observe a volcanic environment on all the rest of the sheath.
Inside, the pack is as always ultra complete. To accompany the atomizer, there is a spare tank, a second drip-tip, an 510 adapter, a three-armed screwdriver, gaskets, spare screws, in short everything is there. In addition, there is a notice translated into several languages including French.
Everything is quite adequate and complete, especially considering the price.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
As I have already mentioned, the resistance (s) will be easy to set up, the postless tray really offering a very comfortable working space.
Resistive wires, even of large cross section, will be well held in place. You just have to be careful that your coils do not protrude from the tray so as not to come into contact with the air inlets.
The cotton is placed intuitively and, for the sake of ease, we can separate the plate from the base and the tank.
The air flow is adjusted by rotating the top-cap, simple and classic.
For filling, we remove the two parts of the top-cap, we have the choice between two circular holes of a very correct diameter compatible with a large part of the bottle tips. But the screws of the postless plate can cause problems with the larger bits, it would probably have been better to use grub screws.
The atomizer has a reserve of 4ml, but, let's be frank, you will not last very long, the liquid drops visibly when you hit it.
All in all, this atomizer does not suffer from any crippling problems, it is very pleasant to live with.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Another atomizer of Vandy Vape who wins the Top Ato. The Pyro arises as a very good atomizer in the country of RDTA.
This product is first of all easy to use. The plateau offers a beautiful playground for all lovers of exotic coils. They will have no trouble installing them and they will have no more trouble setting up the cotton.
The filling is done well, except for the big unicorn bottles which can be hampered by the screw heads of the tray which are placed in parts and others of the filling holes.
The atomizer is, as always with this brand, made of good quality materials and all the elements are perfectly adjusted.
The value for money is just perfect and in addition, as always, the pack is very complete.
Vandy Vape promises you flavors with this Pyro, the promise is kept, our Pyro is at the level of the best drippers on this item.
So, what to blame this atomizer? Not much in fact, it is difficult to find a real fault.
So, we can talk about its somewhat limited autonomy ... but, at the same time, it is a cloud-machine and we do not make big clouds without large consumption of liquid so, can we really speak of a fault?
No, really, I'm looking for and I do not see. If you like clouds, flavors and atomizers rather easy to live, the Pyro offers all this for less than 40 €.
